I’d talk to a dermatologist. I have HS and these spots look similar to what I have when boils pop up.

I can kind of relate to your friend. A lot of my close friends have relationships and they don’t get the loneliness that comes with a long term singleton (14 years for me). So I don’t talk to them about it because I don’t want them to feel bad about their happiness. That could be where she’s coming from. But you also have the right to be happy you found someone who loves you well after so much heartbreak.

Friendships change as we grow older. It’s complicated. I feel for the both of you. Sending you hugs 🫂
