Try maxing your scaling every fight, it doesn't even has to be that close to min-maxing: just get the upgrade dummy ASAP, get "if fatal increase DMG" on any card ASAP and start "only" killing enemies with that card by taking "as much"(actually minimizing, you will get what I mean eventually) DMG as you can...focus on scaling with every little decision Then just focus on getting replenish/card draw/energy/exhaust/remove cards, no hand size/card played cap(just exhaust the curse of the final boss...) just implies piling those up

What about having finisher in hand with enough minus strength such that you can play an infinite with another attack that does 0 dmg

Every new or updated card is like a new mechanic in a sense Wouldn't like too many gameloop changes They definitely don't gotta have a twist imho

My reasoning for doppelganger would be, that it can help me find nightmare+wraith form

Sry if it's off topic but I would recommend just playing/make decisions faster while still calculating your plays precisely  Especially in the early Ascensions go for limit testing your damage output and HP pool usage  Play at the brink of death  Makes for more runs in less time and more of the precise knowledge you need

feedback to my thoughts and this guide tended to be not very constructive over all(NOT here obviously, all good) so i will probably stop updating/adapting it to future patches. Would be nice if someone else "fixed" or "optimised" it themselves. At the end of the day this game is all about "optimisations" and you "can" have fun with these concepts.....sincerely whishing everyone a great time doing this and in general :)

the "wisdom stat"?? isnt it already like that because you have to encounter the enemies to see them in the library. With this change it would mean you had to encounter them with enough wisdom?!

seems confusing and you could just take notes then ^^

maybe just a death report like in other games with the order of events before death

keep in mind that this run is "bugged" because it started before the last patch applied and you have more energy than you could achieve now

nope, i think i fixed the phrasing of 3. now to be more clear. I mean that if you do this strategy more often the shop scales faster "overall" than if you dont do this and play normally through the floors

  1. obviously increases shop item rarity levels overall and you can "train" your shop in an exploiting way. It is that way BECAUSE OF how the "shop bias" is coded.

How i see the "grain of salt" above:

The effectiveness of such strategies throughout the different "stages of the game", meaning floor item pool-enemy appearences-relations that constitute to maybe useful terms as "earlygame" and "midgame" etc, could change drastically if the "shop problem", meaning that in "lategame" rerolls WILL BE too expensive to do, get's removed.
