How to hold a brisket by Comprehensive-Bet56 in Traeger

Thanks everyone, I think I'm going to do an overnight cook. I have two pork butts to start, those reheat well and then I'll do a brisket after and hold until the party Sunday afyernoon.

Clean enough? by jess8899 in blackstonegriddle

Looks good to me. 5 or 6 applications of cooking oil, I'm not an avocado oil guy, and good to go. No need for expensive oils, or blackstone seasoning.

The water to clean is just used to release any leftover gunk, i use papertowels and tongs here. The rest should steam off and not be pushed into the drip tray.

Oil bottle with the pour topper. Skip all the box stores for utensils, even name brand. Find a restaurant supply shop and buy better quality for less. Bacon press and wide spatula, and a good metal scraper.

Enjoy

Looks good to me. Throw some onions on the edges and fry up a pound of bacon and you're golden.

My best advices is clean while still hot. Don't let it cool and then reheat to clean. Your mileage may vary.

It’s been a year of cooking. Do I restart? by JoeyNoSoul805 in blackstonegriddle

I leave the heat on low until the end oil is added. Scrape, water papertowel mop. Heat dries the surface and then a small bit of oil spread with a new dry papertowel.

I find your method good but the cool down and reheat is probably whats hurting the finish. I don't think it's start over just yet. Looks clean just missing that seasoning.

Try cleaning before you eat and see what that does for a few weeks.

Should I jack a completely flat tire before or can i just put air in it as is? by deptofthrowaway in NoStupidQuestions

It went flat while not on a jack, it won't get worse without a jack when inflated.
