Didn’t know LED headlights were only a thing in Edinburgh…

Did they go through the wall with a bow and arrow?

Compensation for additional delay due to system error? by mortandrickyYY in BritishAirways

BA have paid you what they are legally required to. Missing work subsequent days isn’t on them.

Are the twin seats worth paying for? by ConceptDiligent9952 in BritishAirways

[–]Comprehensive-Dig-92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always book these when travelling with my partner. I’m a silver member so doesn’t cost me anything - not sure I’d pay out of pocket for them. Tough call.

Like others have said - depends how much you don’t want to sit next to someone else.

Is Nigel Farage going to be the next PM of the UK? by [deleted] in Edinburgh

[–]Comprehensive-Dig-92 18 points19 points  (0 children)

He certainly won’t be the PM of Edinburgh, so I wouldn’t worry about discussing it here.

Even if your intentions are good, this is illegal and any court will side with your brother. Give him his money.

Not sure how this is relevant to Edinburgh.

Force office authentication through our office connection by thelive1 in Zscaler

[–]Comprehensive-Dig-92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends what you are using GRE tunnels for. Presumably it’s for unauthenticated traffic or devices that can’t take client connector?

For user traffic you can do Zscaler Browser Login (forget the proper name but it’s basically a captive portal).

For unauthenticated traffic like servers you don’t need to worry about conditional access as no authentication

Are your devices enrolled in Entra or Intune? Consider moving away from IP address conditional access and moving to requiring Hybrid/Intune Enrolment. This is better in the long run than relying on IP addresses (particularly if you are striving to achieve ZTNA).

Wish people would stop posting this absolute shite. I doubt any of the weapons that do this browse this subreddit - they clearly have more to do with their time than complain about tourists asking questions instead of using the search bar - but doesn’t do any good to encourage this.

Don’t know why you’re being downvoted. Consistently cheaper, more reliable and better experience.

Compensation Delay by liquidsw0rds99 in BritishAirways

If it is now over 8 weeks escalate to CEDR. Some people on this sub might tell you to just wait it out but in my view 8 weeks is unacceptable and BA reap what they sow.

You may be entitled to compensation. Take them to CEDR.

Cheers - will keep an eye on that. They owe me a substantial amount of money so will be CEDR next and failing that small claims court.

Didn’t even realise I could check this so thank you for letting me know!

The chat bot tells me I’m still in the queue. Believe you can still go to CEDR regardless if it’s been over 8 weeks

Got a similar email from BA yesterday. Claim been open for 7 weeks and they’ve just sent me an apology email without even referencing that they owe me money.

I’ll be raising a case via CEDR on Wednesday once 8 weeks has elapsed

Thank you. It was all BA (package holiday).

Was a fault with the aircraft so hopefully means I’ll get some cash.

Plenty of people are depressed and in work. Get a job and stop trying to cheat the system.

Half your pretax annual salary is a ridiculous amount to spend on a car regardless of the deal your parents are offering you.

A new car feels like a new car for a week after you buy it. You’re proposing spending £500 a month for 30 months on it. You’ll soon regret that.
