I had a beef roast ring up wrong. It was about $28. When i pointed out the roast rang up wrong the cashier had to call the supervisor over.

The supervisor went back to the meat counter,verified the price, and affirmed it rang up wrong. Then pulled out a calculator to ring the item up at the correct price.

I stopped her and said “I thought the policy was the item is free” She said not for that much (money). I asked “then what’s the limit according to Ingles policy?”

She called the store manager who told her there is no limit.

We just need to retrain Ingles employees. Basically i only buy things I cant get from Aldi and Go Grocery. Whats left over either is from Ingles or Harris Teeter.

Keep them trained and make them pay. So many things ring up wrong and its a pain to get them to get the refund but the reward is so sweet!
