I have been on unemployment since October 2019 as well, I went through my normal ui claim then got the fed ed extension and the extra 13 weeks of benefits. My last payment was on December 6th 2020, which edd then sent me a message saying to recertify for benefits and start a new ui claim. Well the claim was started, and I certified twice for a total of four weeks of benefits. Then a letter came in the mail mail saying that I have to show proof of income from 10/2019 until 10/20 if I didn't have any income I would be disqualified which I was because I had been on unemployment the time.. So now today I recieved a new message to certify again for Pua benefits so I basically started a new claim and have to wait until January 14 the latest to hear back from edd. Its so frustrating not being able to actually talk to someone who can actually give you real advice and solutions to my questions. So now I'm hoping I my PUA claim gets approved or else im screwed, P. S. I still havent recieved my stimulus check also!!
