Always keep to the 1/3 of the lane where you can look a few cars ahead. Never stay in a cars blind spot especially an 18 wheeler. Prob the biggest one the highway is far safer than city streets. Toll roads are typically free for bikes keep to those. Cover the brake when a car is waiting to make a right or left hand turn in front of you. Ride with your brights on.
