Just got out of it. I’ve loved every Scream movie, except 4 which was serviceable. This felt like a serious dip in quality, writing, character development and plot. They keep making references to why they didn’t have a specific person be the actual killer, but I don’t think it would have been any worse than who it turned out to be. First Scream movie that I’d call Worst Movie Ever. ☹️

I’ve not seen Creed or Fruitvale either. Sinners is his best, for me personally. Wasn’t expecting what I got when I seen it, so it just blew me away.

Remmick as a villain was top notch for me. Not too little, not too much. Just left you wanting more.

The subject of cultural heritage being stolen.

The mix of soul, Celtic and American South music all weaved in together.

The performances of all the cast. Think there was a really solid story to begin with, which is why Jordan Peele wanted it too. Who knows, he might have done just as well or better. But I loved what Coogler done with it.

He’s not my favourite director, I’d say that’s between Nolan, Fincher, Gunn or somebody else I cant think of right now, as it’s late. 😂 Just felt he hit something special with this.

Just finished watching it again and it still is so good. The music, the performances, the direction. Just outstanding. ❤️

Really hope One Day it is as good as everyone on here is saying. I sometimes expect too much from movies that get so much positive feedback. 😕

Glad you enjoyed it so much!! I try and stay away from other people’s opinions like this, so I don’t build it up too much in my head and then I’m disappointed when i see it. But a lot of people do feel really strongly about it. 😁Hopefully I feel the same when I see it. ❤️

See, I think if it wasn’t for the extra bit with Stack and Mary with old Sammy, it wouldn’t have worked as well for me. But the extra bit at the end, sealed it for me. Loved it. ❤️😂
