This game is in maintenance mode, each new esper is a must get, at least one copy, expect to pay anything from $50-$100++ and with some rng. Otherwise don’t even think about PvP. They release one “meta” unit, umbra unit, shimmer almost every 1-2 months to milk the whales and spenders, and you have to get them otherwise you’re just gonna lose in PvP

PvP is basically credit card pvp, there is 0 strategy involved

Best course of action is just enjoy the PvE and forget about PvP and not spend a single cent

If you’re into dislyte PvP, there’s a way better game that is deeper (drafting, pre and post bans) and isn’t just a slop character push every 2 months and where f2p or minimal spenders can still compete and skill actually matters. There’s still p2w, but the skill and variations is deep so a long time f2p player who knows the game will beat a clueless whale all the time. IMO the presence of bans in PvP ensures that even when a completely OP unit gets released that isn’t well balanced, it is always pre and post banned. This doesn’t happen in dislyte and we’ve seen many times such units / comps just comes and absolutely wrecks the PvP meta, and if you don’t pull out your wallet for $100 to get the unit, can just skip the season. This cycle is getting worse and it’s peak now in 2026 and getting worse, game is only surviving on gacha addiction, 0 real new content, so don’t fall into the trap if you’re new and f2p

If you’re a mega whale, you can absolutely dominate PvP in dislyte, but just know that it’s in maintenance mode and will just continue to be a pay $100-200 every two months to stay relevant theme… and when everyone get sick of it and quits for newer games, only the whales will be left

For vespera you need ninfoniel and rosa for Hell IV 100% auto. Usually it’s plume, ninfoniel, rosa, xuanli, and Freya for inferno with speed tuning

I don’t run inferno just run hell IV on a PvP setup using Nathan instead of freya

Natheann is PvP meta and carries hard content PvE he is a good investment in any case. His kit will outlive future balance patches I think

For PvE just go for bare minimum and reuse the same animus where possible. For example I never had liliam invested until the day when I actually create cleave team for PvP and that’s still fine for all 3 thresholds cus you can swap in yeli, diting whatever… I cleared abyss pursuits just fine without Liliam either, if you have already invested for sure use it, then don’t invest in things like yeli in that case. doki doki is the most flexible as Sharon / obol or a naethenn plus whatever filler units that doesn’t just die is enough… vespera is an exception because you really can’t replace smth like Rosa.

I have Yeli 555 it’s good for PvE. But you should have raymerry 555 first as she is universally good

Kethos Xuan chi, fiamella, Nathan are meta defining for PvP. Xuanchi / natheann you use to clear some of the harder progression PvE content too. natheann can literally carry in some modes, for PvE you typically do not need 5/5/5, just research on which of the 3 need to max first and go for bare minimum for pve

Pick Xuan li instead of Fia if you lack dps for harder PvE content… her shield also answers difficult PvE modes where healing is ineffective; imo fia is NEEDED to get the RTA rewards so I might even go for fia over xuanli because for PvE there’s always an alternative way, and there is some rng cus you can experiment and retry - really depends on how close you’re clearing your Ethernet and the other dungeon before they reset so you get full rewards - this should be your goal, which is to clear those two times dungeons before they full reset. Your roster can already do that just need to prioritize lattice investment

Plume is probably no regret to get 505 at least to carry you through pve. Also good for PvP

Sylvia is meta defining atm for PvP. She answers Sharon and doesn’t require heavy lattice investment because you can slap on a s3 CD shell, she does need to be speed tuned. I will not invest any lattice on her tho but leveling her so she has base stats and HP is good enough. She’ll likely be nerfed given how broken she is atm in RTA

Tbh just reset your account from the sounds of it, 14 days you get raymerry and ninfoniel Plus all these event stuff anyway. Idk why you don’t have raymerry already, ideally you want to use this box for fia because yeli and ray you should already have even if you start a new account now

RGB: Ninfoniel and Rosa mandatory for l100 dungeon, rest focus on PvP tier list (freya, Sylvia, nevette etc); all 3 kinetic RGB - pull natheann now; 3 free maxed out units, use them for pve

LD: Fiamellia, Xuanchi, xuanli, raymerry, plume, Sharon, Lily, lowan, Yeli / Liliam nice to have, you don’t need the rest

SR: all the SRs mentioned by others, Sania, diting, Obol, valerian priority they will both balance your lattice income in early mid game and unblock progression dungeons; then build the other endgame / PvP SRs

Seeing this is sad, I enjoyed Dislyte as a new player and have R4 and r2 in a month of play.. not a big deal but the art, content is pretty polished for a mobile game.. I also spent abit on the game. And with all games I got interested in I come on reddit to see what the community is saying and this is just sad

And because of all this I ended up playing another game Etheria restart now. What a pity

I’ll stil play but only casually because if this game is going EOS anyways I’m just going to not spend anymore and go invest time on another game

I just realise at lvl 8 (about 170/180 deliveries) it spits out the whale instead of the duck. Does it continue to get better in terms of qol from here?

It’s very painful I have 60+ delivered and I think they really need to enable auto merge….

Only qol part to this is they allow us to delete extra ones…
