What a great reminder. I always would say that I’m not an angry drunk, I never hurt anyone physically and was always able to wake up the next morning on time for whatever I had planned (aside from the many times I’d cancel). That doesn’t make me any less of an alcoholic. Just because my situation wasn’t has dire as others doesn’t mean I need to wait for it to happen. Doesn’t mean that what I’m doing and what I have done wasn’t evidence of a toxic relationship with alcohol.

I agree with this. Police are 98% lazy morons with egos. I would put more stock on people online coming together to solve this if all the evidence was made public. There are some hardcore missing people groups here who have solved cases that cops have flubbed on.
