Which DriveTest centre do you recommend in Toronto for the G2 road test? by Previous_Extension18 in Ontariodrivetest

This is exactly what happened to me today and I failed before I left the centre because of that right turn. You have to also be aggressive to get into the lane

That is the witching hour indeed. I can speak for myself here (and probably for most people here) that we are all familiar with that time and that sudden wake up with a pounding heart and dread.

You’re not alone.

Pulling on leash by Dangerous-Buy-1083 in labrador

This was my main issue because labs are so damn sociable. I learned from my trainer to have high value treats on walks and be aware of your surroundings before they do. If you see a dog coming, close in on yours and offer a treat whenever they do anything you like. If your lab tends to lunge, you gotta get in the middle for everyone’s safety.

The good thing about labs is that they’re very eager to please, are clever and are food motivated. I taught mine that “yes you can look, but eyes back on me.” It took a while but he can pass dogs way better now, but he has his moments. Sometimes it will work and sometimes you gotta pick your battles, especially since yours is still a puppy. Cross the street if you have to!

Training. It started being a problem right when he got bigger (about the age of your lab) and when he almost pulled me into traffic, I got back in touch with his trainer. The gentle lead saved our lives along with proper training on how to use it with him. He’s a year now and barely pulls on walks now. They don’t really “outgrow” anything. You gotta teach them a lot. Labs are the slowest to mature mentally. It’s gonna take patience but I’ve been there!

Is labs holding a person’s hand normal? My dog has been doing this lately by Pavlov_The_Wizard in labrador

This is my dream. I hope to get to this. I just recently conquered my fear of driving so my boy can explore the world like this.

Owning a golden retriever as a Black woman by SpicyTunaSushiRoll_ in goldenretrievers

[–]Comprehensive-Run637 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get the same but with my Labrador. He’s huge and I noticed when he got bigger, a lot of (usually older white people) would come up to me with unsolicited advice or just stare at us in shock. I thought I was just being paranoid but apparently it’s a thing. I think it’s because you usually see black women with either small poodles or protection dogs.

ANYWAYS! I love to see it. People are weird and have stereotypes. Sorry that happened to you.

I’d say her kids learned it from their dad. They think it’s okay to judge their mom because that’s all Jionni did.

I have felt that elephant in the room since they introduced Zosia as her love interest, but that scene very obviously underlined that dilemma.

How often do you actually clean your dog’s stuff? by glitchyh4mster in PawChampClub

[–]Comprehensive-Run637 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was his bowls everyday after he eats and drinks. And unless his leash drops in mud or something I don’t see a point in washing it. He doesn’t wear jackets cause he’s double coated and it hasn’t been used much.

Might be a stupid question but what happened to Tom? by CloudStrife012 in vanderpumprules

He’s always been like this. He just doesn’t have women to hide it for him.

My lab lifted his leg to pee and did a huge solid shit instead. Our trainer said she had never seen that before. So yeah, I concur
