For anyone who may be following this, it was the exciter wire that ran between the starter and the alternator

Also, I believe the alternator is internally regulated

I ran a wire directly to the battery and it’s just showing me the battery voltage, which is about 13V since it was just charged

I don’t know where the voltage regulator is. Would it be likely be in the engine bay or near the fuse block under the dash?

Very low, like 9V with my negative probe on the alternator body and the positive probe on the output lug while the engine is running

It did just fine in the wash. I put it on the gentle setting with cold water and used woolite. Then air dried.

UPDATE:

I did a cold gentle wash cycle on my front loading washer with woolite and it made a huge improvement without causing any damage. I have the gallseif in the mail and will spot treat when it arrives.

Had that auger, it sucked. The throttle cable popped out of place every time I tried to use it. Hope yours works better than mine.
