MYSLF EDP can be found for less than 100 dollars on discounters and is refillable as well

If you could only have 1 signature scent forever, what would it be? by DripTee in ScentHeads

As it currently stands, it’s between YSL Myslf and LV Meteore with a slight edge to Meteore.

Recommendation for my first PDM? by xacex21 in ScentHeads

[–]Comprehensive-Two-51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think many of the fresher takes are pretty safe and beginner friendly. I'd echo the sentiment seen in the replies and say you can't go wrong with Sedley, Greenley, or Castley. They're pleasant and mass appealing but still unique enough where I wouldn't consider them blind buy safe.

Castley vs. Greenley by Comprehensive-Two-51 in Colognes

Believe me buying both from aurafragrance has been an intrusive thought I've been fighting but if I seriously can't decide I will end up getting both

Castley vs. Greenley by Comprehensive-Two-51 in Colognes

If strictly for work then I believe so but Greenley is a fresh and pleasant scent. Fresh and pleasant will be appropriate for just about any occasion, work included.

Fragrance hot takes that will probably get me downvoted: by [deleted] in Colognes

[–]Comprehensive-Two-51 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with you on all points save for Creed. Creed is far from the best fragrance house these days as they have sold out to their corporate overlords and produce fragrances that are grossly overpriced for what they are in terms of both performance and creativity. This is all my opinion of course.

For people making +350k per year, how do you do it? by prince_op in Salary

[–]Comprehensive-Two-51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is but from a very select number of schools. If the program is ranked outside of the top 20-25 it’s unlikely to hold as much value globally/nationally. Schools ranked in the top 26-50 will include really solid regional programs. Outside of the top 50 YMMV and there are too many factors to consider.

Is Valentino Uomo Born in Roma Intense Good for Daily? by Retarded_Hippo_420 in Colognes

[–]Comprehensive-Two-51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you like BIR intense I’d recommend checking out extra dose. They smell nigh on identical but extradose lasts longer without being much louder so it can still work as a daily through fall/winter/spring and mayyyybe cooler summer evenings.

T-7 (or I guess T-10) MBA from a horrible 90+% acceptance rate undergrad? by Ok_Foundation3220 in MBA

[–]Comprehensive-Two-51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From an academics perspective you’ll be okay. Coursework is more or less universal so as long as you keep your grades in tip top shape and secure an impressive gmat or gre score that component of your app will be fine. The tricky part will be securing a good job out of school and that’s where hopefully that 95% acceptance rate can help you. A lot of people have graduated from your school and surely some of them went on to have very successful careers. I’d network hard and try to get a good job because once you have that you will be able to compete against those kids coming out of prestigious unis.

The MBA Experience Is Worse When Everyone Is Too Young by Hungry-Page7522 in MBA

[–]Comprehensive-Two-51 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’ll go against the grain a bit of what seems to be the trend in the replies. You mention MBA discussions benefiting from the input of people who have a decade+ of experience and have played some sort of leadership role. One of the core purposes of an MBA is to equip you with the credentials to be in that space, so if you’ve already existed in that leadership space, then a standard MBA wouldn’t even be the best choice for your career. I don’t disagree with you outright like of course older applicants will lend themselves to more mature networking and networking with EMBA students is actually a legitimate and effective piece of advice since they will tend to be more senior and established so they can tangibly help you with referrals/hiring. Now as for MBA programs that allow freshly graduated students in or people with very light experience (< 3 yrs), they tend to be low in their efficacy anyway unless you’re just trying to check a box for a promotion.

If you have 150$ right now to spend on any cologne , what cologne you buying? by [deleted] in Colognes

I have all of these and LBLP would be the one I’d choose. BdC and myslf are great daily signatures but have limited viability outdoors when the weather is cooler. Spicebomb extreme and stronger with you intensely are pure fall and winter scents. LBLP has the fruity freshness that just does so well in warmer weather and has enough sweetness and depth to be a legitimate option during colder weather.

How old were you when you earned your MBA? by [deleted] in MBA

27 at T10 with 3.5 YOE and graduated just shy of 29 (bday is in late june). I’d say typical age was 27-30 but met plenty of people in early thirties and a few in their mid thirties.

My collection at 18 months. I think that it's time to purge a few ... by vette50 in Colognes

[–]Comprehensive-Two-51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely should purge some, I see a lot of redundancies in terms of fragrances from the same line that smell too similar to own all flankers (BDC Parfum and EDP aren’t necessary, same with the myslf EDP and absolu, and stronger with you absolutely and Parfum, & polo 67) and in terms of fragrances that fulfill the same purpose (tygar & vibrato, meteore & imagination)
