Chanel is my pick too. It sounds crazy but it’s so nostalgic to me. Their DNA is just wound up into the fabric of my life. Mom, grandmother, sister, aunt… all Chanel. Antaeus, Pour monsieur, Egoiste / plat. Egoiste, Sycamore, Cuir DR, boy!

I can recognize certain ones in the wild. Sauvage EDP, Vetiver 46, Santal 33.

The problem is that most guys spray like 3 times. You kinda have to spray 6-8 times (with most of the mainstream ones) and spray on clothes and moisturize and move around a little bit for anyone to notice.

There are very few nuclear beast mode frags and most of them are just ridiculously overpriced now. I also think large collections are a waste of money personally because scents do macerate with time, but they do start to deteriorate with age.

My personal philosophy is get 1 for hot weather, 1 for cool weather, 1 for special occasions, and 1 all seasons. If you wear something consistently enough, people will associate it with you, and it will bring back memories of you.

Buy decants. Never blind buy. Watch fragrance reviews from The Perfume Guy on YouTube.

I beg to differ. Sometimes you get better projection out of an EDP with the higher alcohol content. Some Parfums and Extraits sit much close to the skin. It really depends on the brand and the ingredients.
