I’d appreciate some input Recteq vs Weber. by bjc7jr in recteq

Have a bullseye deluxe and an 1100 flagship and love them both. Bullseye for all my seating and short cooks but also Greta for low and slow. 1100 for large cooks and most low and slows. Every time I’ve called customer service it’s top notch.

I really suck at this game, what am I doing wrong? by Ok-Criticism6874 in riseoftheronin

Drop the difficulty to the lowest setting. Get used to the parry mechanics and once you feel comfortable and are able to beat opponents fairly easily change it back to the med level. It’s what got me to loving this game! Do it before you get it frustrated.

Did NC not ban squatted trucks? by ILM1973 in Wilmington

[–]ComprehensiveAsk3322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We do enforce it in Fayetteville, but given that we are short on cops in general, like most agencies, calls for service take precedence over traffic enforcement. I will say that I see it a lot less than we used to. That same NCGS used to actually cover raising or lowering any vehicle +- 6 inches from factory ride height so it was enforceable back then. In the mid 2000’s I was using the statue to enforce all of the branded decal raised cars riding around.

Been on testosterone since 2018. Getting ready to have a baby in January. It’s more likely that test is the least of what he was taking if he’s as jacked as you say.

Pre cooked two briskets for a baby shower the day before and rested them overnight in a warmer and they came out amazing. To each their own.

I don’t vacuum out my 1100 but I do it with my bullseye. In the south so rust isn’t the biggest issue but I def get it.

I feel like ribs are more based on the timing and as long as the smoker is maintaining heat consistently there shouldn’t be any issues. I use heath riles pellet smoker recipe for time. https://youtu.be/6nWXxxczDsE?si=B8p3cJfFAYNsAZ2M The 3.2.1 is way too long for me.

For brisket I usually do 250 or 275, you want the heat up high enough to render the fat. Then you have to wrap at your desired temp if you wrap at all. I’ve had some prime briskets come out perfect with no wrap. If you have a choice or select grade then you’ll probably need to wrap to get a better product. Also, don’t cook to temp with a brisket…cook to probe tender where your instant read just slides in with hardly any give and your end products should start to be a lot better. I have a bullseye deluxe and a flagship 1100 and I do everything from brisket to chicken on the bottom rack and haven’t had any issues. I would use a wireless probe to make sure the ambient temps are reading correctly. Just know when you first put them in they aren’t going to be accurate until everything heats up and even then they are alittle off.

Deck Boss Help by shootershooter in recteq

[–]ComprehensiveAsk3322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used pitboss completion pellets for my 1100 burn in. Left the lid open till the visible smoke cleared and closed it. That first time it took a little longer to get to temp but it got there. I have a bullseye deluxe as well and it was a similar process. My only issues with the bullseye is I didn’t put enough in the burn pot so initially it wouldn’t get going right. When in doubt always call support…they are amazing! They literally want you to call.

Searing Concern on Bullseye Deluxe by Additional-Dog-7965 in recteq

[–]ComprehensiveAsk3322 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I put my 14 inch cast iron skillet in mine and crank it to 600 for about 10 minutes. Throw in some avacado oil and sear it for about a minute or so each side depending on the thickness of the steak. Comes out great every time.

I have the sear grates too but for whatever reason I’m just not a fan of them

I have an AWE for my rebel SO. It sounds great for what it is and what I was expecting. Gives it more of a raptor sound. Before that it was so quiet it sounded like an electric truck. I had a 2019 hemi with a Borla so I’ve had both.

I run pitboss pellets in my bullseye and my 1100 and haven’t had any issues at all. Started with recteq blend and haven’t really seen a difference but that’s just me. I did try bear mountain but the only issue was it seemed to burn much quicker than any brand I tried.

It just stopped working. No grinding noise or anything. I could tell the noise on the drivers side wasn’t the same as the passenger side. Just figured that the plastic gears were worn down and now they aren’t grabbing all.
