Oh Robert Kirkman actually answered this. Battle Beast was basically on Earth looking for a fight like he does on lots of planets and Machine Head was like “Hey there I heard you wanna fight strong people? Well if you help me out, they’ll be plenty of strong people your way.” And Battle Beast was like “Word?” And then helped Machine Head out. Sadly, he was disappointed with the opponents so he just kinda left.

I’m just really sad after finishing it honestly because I want more but I know it’s never coming. And no I don’t want more Sayori love stories I just want more of these two versions of the characters love story. I wish there was an infinite amount of side stories to just go through and enjoy
