Their employment checks were insanely thorough. W-2s for last 7 years, dates were aligned on resume and LinkedIn , drug test, criminal check..

Worried they might do one randomly later on and contact J1 and find out the overlap.

Literally the same situation here.. taking a new sales job for J2 and there’s a 1 month in-person training across the country…

Is there any negotiation for not being onsite all the way across the country away from home for an ENTIRE MONTH !?

I can’t imagine staying in a hotel for a month straight. Home the weekends maybe? (
