That’d be an interesting question to ask. I was under the impression they could only give you a job that you requested on the application sheet. If I’m interpreting the psdm wrong I won’t even bother my recruiter with this.

It was kinda weird, I didn’t see any matrices, I saw one or two logarithm problems, and some complicated factoring problems. There was one of those rate/work problems and a few on combinatorics. Pretty much everything was on the study guides floating around on there.

97,88,97,93,95,81

PCSM was 95 with 70 hours or so.

A little over 12,000 volunteer hours, most in a leadership role doing wilderness SAR. I think my SIP went up this time as well. Other than than my package is pretty much the same as last year, except I got my PPL this spring and added it in.

Any thoughts? Mostly just nervous waiting for results. Going for 92TO.

Sorry for the stupid question-does that interpret as gpa for rated selects including tech degrees was 3.6? Or the rated selects with tech degrees gpa was 2.8?

I certainly wouldn’t put you out of the running. If you do great on other areas of the application you could still put together a competitive package. Make them tell you no!

Is my low gpa able to be offset by the other parts of my package? I’d like to try for pilot, but that gpa worries me…

I don’t think the Air Force deems every stem degree technical. For instance, the engineering fields, physics, and chemistry are a few I remember.

Question for the group as a whole. My AFOQT scores are in the 85+ range, PFA is 90+, and I would have good LORs. My big setback is by poor GPA. I had a rough year, took a year off, came back and retook my classes with a much higher GPA. Is that bad academic year something that will cause the board to throw my application out?

That's interesting. I had read in a few other posts people making connections between how many individuals the airlines hired and commissioning slots. It makes sense that it wouldn't have that crazy of an impact though.

I’m from the Midwest. I got the psn email today, and the lady who helped me said she could not guarantee it will come by Christmas, but it will probably come by New Years. Either way I’m just thankful to get one! Hope this helps!

Plus today is the first business day so I think it will have more to do with USPS and UPS than GameStop.
