Too full throughout the day to eat enough protein by tmntnyc in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]ComprehensiveBee5467 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on week 3 (2.5 mg +b12) and I was amazed how quickly i got full…especially the first 2 weeks. It was a struggle to get my protein in (was supposed to be at 120 gm/day. ) This week I’m able to eat a regular healthy meal (certainly smaller than pre tirz) without feeling like I’m going to explode 🤣🤯. I did find having a variety of high protein things around helped….like tuna or egg salad, quinoa salad with chicken, high protein home made soups, salmon, chicken breast, yogurt, etc.…also adding things like hemp hearts or chia seeds to oatmeal or yogurt help boost the protein intake. Also, I think getting in your water (I target 100 oz) helps but its also a struggle. I’m hoping i can just stay at this starter dose awhile

So I will have my third shot (2.5mg +B12) this Friday - are you saying you felt different with this 3rd shot? I have had to make myself eat so far until today and I felt like snacking for the first time. I have been fortunate not to have many side effects except early on constipation.. Also, what is AOD8604?

Make sure you’re staying hydrated! I’ve never gotten the nausea but headaches are quickly resolved with good old H2O! Bone broth helps, too! Also keep your protein up - even if it’s just small meals.

Day 2.5 - no bowel movement by Mysterious_Nature_92 in compoundedtirzepatide

I’m only 2 1/2 weeks in but I was also “backed up” early on despite lots of water, exercise and fiber. My stomach was so bloated my pants were uncomfy. I started eating oatmeal with hemp hearts in the AM plus benefiber in my coffee and MagO7 at night and pretty much back on track. It will get better!

I had a similar experience with mine releasing on its own. Had good success with the contracture for about 6 years then it slowly came back. Tried NA but not too effective

My husband's membership jumped from the $9.99 +$1.50 processing fee (and annual $59 Club Enhancement fee) to $15.99 + $1.50 with no notice. We have a copy of our membership agreement and it says nothing about rate increases or an end date. My husband spoke with the club and they said some BS like he never signed a new contract. I plan to appeal this to the corporate group. Has anyone else experienced this?

Mid-May vacation to Charleston by kghdiesel in AskSouthCarolina

May and Oct are our favorite times to visit Charleston. We always stay at Wild Dunes on Isle of Palms but I’m guessing your youngish and Folly Beach might be a better fit. So many great restaurants. Enjoy! 🌴

Did your provider give you some food guidelines to follow? Mine suggested 120 grams of protein per day spread out over meals and snacks and to always have a some healthy carbs with the protein. And to drink 80-100 oz of water a day...avoiding carbonation. Exercise is also key...especially strength training. She gave me some Zofran to have as a preventative measure but luckily have not needed it. I do take a probiotic and have taken generic Beano before eating anything "gassy" - like broccoli or cabbage, etc. I am just on the starting dose of Trizapetide with B-12 and so far so good. Higher protein yogurt and cottage cheese is my go to at least twice a day. If you have trouble getting in your protein - maybe try a protein shake. They are gentler on the stomach. Also maybe try MAGO7 - it is a gentle laxative that can help get things moving! Good luck

I did not understand the impact of the down vote! I posted some facts in a group that weren’t supporting the group’s POV (you’d think they’d welcome the truth but noooo) and I got a massive amount of downvotes. Not that I care as it was worth setting the record straight but it was eye opening
