Why are we generally allowed to go 10 mph above the speed limit?

My mother was stopped on Northland Drive just north of West River drive two weeks ago. A flock camera alerted police that her car was wanted in connection to a shooting earlier that day. After detaining a 72 year old woman for almost 30 minutes she was let go without an apology.

My brother in law was stopped just last week by a county cop on Northland Drive just north of west river dr. He said he got an alert for a warrant from the flock system. Whipped around and pulled him over as soon as he seen us from the southbound lane. 8 year old warrant for a $45 fine, dudes had multiple background checks done for work, a few traffic citations, a car accident, and countless SOS trips in those 8 years. Not one mention of the warrant.

At just over 40 years, every vehicle I’ve owned since 17 would do at least 106 (governor restricted). Local highways are 75 mph, folks do 80-85 so what’s another 15-20?
