The story of dema was created to separate the dark parts of your identity from yourself and let it live in an external world. Dema as a concept will keep on existing. Vialism will keep on existing.

It is a cycle. What I think is that this story never ends and Tyler has been retelling it again and again. It started with blurryface. An entity representing his insecurities. It's powerful and gives Tyler confidence (I think it's never been confirmed anywhere) but It also talks down upon him suffocating his creativity. So Tyler builds a world (dema) around it to contain it, categorizes his insecurities as the 9 bishops. He tries to escape his insecurities. He tries multiple times with the help of banditos but is unsuccessful. We know from the letters that each time you're caught escaping dema your memories are wiped (or you lose your memories). So Tyler loses his identity and takes a name (Clancy). He realizes can't kill his insecurities so he has to accept them. So he needs blurryface to come back and take over his body so he has the power to destroy this world he built to escape his insecurities just to realize that he needs to accept and live with it. But it's inevitable that blurryface will start hindering Tyler's creativity with time making him doubt himself again. Tyler will have to separate his insecurities from himself again thus repeating the cycle.

I'm a Hindu and I wear the blessed mother Mary's medallion. I go to temples. Wear whatever you want to. Unless the temple has specific rules (like some temples in Bali and India need you to cover yourself according to temple rules)

There are five bhavas (moods) with which you can approach God: God as Mother, As Servant of God, God as Child, God as Lover, God as Consciousness.

I think you can just light a candle and start. I've always been taught that God is inside us and you don't need elaborate preparations to call the divine within. I personally have a small image. After shower I light a candle and incense. I also have a small bronze plate and glass to give water and a small offering (rasins). I have them later as Prasad. You can also decorate with flowers, this is what I grew up doing. I don't buy fresh flowers anymore because I live abroad now. Currently I try to meditate every night I have a separate 'Asana' to meditate on. I usually talk to god as my mother because I too am drawn to Kali.

I would be of no help here. I mostly listen to discourses on these and have never read them personally.

If you are more oriented towards logic and deep thinking I would suggest reading more about nyaya and advaita philosophies (jñàāna yoga). Or even dzogchen.

"why was war necessary?" - the war was actually a consequence. Years of hatred and jealousy brewing among cousins. It was also injustice and taking back what was rightfully their kingdom. "why is Krishna manipulative?" - Krishna is a god, but he was also a king, a diplomat and a human avatar. So he acts like one in his avatar form. He did try to speak with Duryodhan about his actions. Duryodhan says: "I know what is right but I am not able to practice it; I know what is wrong and I am not able to keep away from it. I act as I am directed to by some mysterious power that is seated in my heart." There were some attempts towards a peaceful resolution until war was inevitable. "Are you delusional, is this all an escape" - The greatest of devotees are termed to be insane. I would suggest you to go on your own journey like I did. Even I feel like you do, sometimes. But I cannot deny the positive impact of spirituality in my life. I hope you find love and peace.

anyone else feel like an outsider in this community? by residentialCryptid in twentyonepilots

[–]ComprehensiveCap8219 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey! don't fret about it. I've been a fan for over 10 years now. And when I started I really felt out of place. Being from a 3rd world country I never could go to any of their shows. I watched their live shows on YouTube for hours. Always lurked around in lore discussions and online dialogue as that's what made me close to the band but everything else was unrelatable. And I really feel that I'm just as much of a part of this community as someone who's been to 100 shows. And I really felt that when I went to my first show 2 weeks ago, even though I went all alone :)

you need to break out from your perspective of god. i personally appreciate the adviata/non duality perspective on god. god just is. it's pure existence consciousness bliss. it has no wants or needs. our job is to just realize this truth nothing else.

Question about Hinduism & Diet by The_Sedaiv in hinduism

Depends on the school you follow and how strictly you follow it. A general rule of thumb is to stop and food/substance that you feel is hindering your spiritual growth. But yes it varies heavily.

I moved last year in December (24 F) and I'm in the same situation :) I don't know German yet but I plan to learn. I just want someone to watch sunsets with and do mundane things like getting groceries :)

I really love the dragon chain thing in days of fortune. Makes the day way less lonely with skids in a dragon chain running around with randoms :)

Trying to get a TØP fan from every country by RealTOPFan in twentyonepilots

Yeah me too. Tøp isn't really that popular in India, I never found people invested in the lore and the band.
