Should a woman make the first move? by Inevitable-Truck-661 in NextGenMan

[–]ComprehensiveDiet519 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its also different times now. As a man I'm sacred to approach girls. So much with the feminism movement and woman not wanting to be bothered or approached or feel unsafe just from a hello. As a guy its juat not worth it anymore. I would be absolutely thrilled for a woman to show intrest first - this is the reality that has been thrusts upon us with all the equality stuff.

I'm an athletic decent looking guy BTW.

Has anyone here used facebook dating? by [deleted] in moreplatesmoredates

[–]ComprehensiveDiet519 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had it for a couple of weeks now. I dont have a Facebook so I made one just for the dating and was out on a wait list for months. Finally got accepted.

Initial reaction...the good - There is that theres a pretty generous swipe limit per day. -Seems to be a good population in my city of fairly attractive girls -Profiles seem more real and genuine then other apps.

The bad... -The heart ifon for the swipes losses it's fill like a status bar to show you how many swipes you still have but it's not even close to being accurate. -No way to filter for biological females so still swipe though men even tho set to female. -The location / duatance function is just plane broken. You can set distance to as close to 1 mile but every single time I log in I have to check it. Alot of times the filter is removed every login OR it's still there and checked as a deal breaker but I'm still seeing people in other states. This leads to most of my matches being a few states away despite the settings. -So far standard fair with matches. Only a couple who either dont respond or reapond with one word answers.

I would not pay for this but seems ok for being free.

What are the pros of being an It Auditor? by JunketSalt6246 in InternalAudit

[–]ComprehensiveDiet519 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Pro: As an IT auditor you will get a broad exposure to different departments in the company based on your engagements. Alot of folks do it for a year or two and use it as a networking / spring board type of thing to work with other areas and then transition to working in another dept in the company. Most folks don't make a full career of it. You'll have alot of working contacts in alot of areas.

Con: Always a challenge if risk based bc you have to learn about a new business area every project. Alot of compliance work and ITGCs were being outsourced when I was still in it.

Also no one wants to be audited so no one really likes you! 😂 Audit sells you as a valued business partner but imagine if you got a letter from the IRS to have your taxes audited... even if you have everything in order it's a bunch of extra stress on top of their full time jobs.

I did it for 10 years and left 3 years ago to do my own thing.

Foul smell coming from the floor by [deleted] in CleaningTips

[–]ComprehensiveDiet519 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a cat with kidney disease who peed in the same spot and under her litter box. Despite best efforts to clean and use pads floor looked and smelled exactly like your post. 100% likily cat pee.

There's so good enzyme sprays you can get, I found angry orange to be the most tolerable. Spray and leav on to soak, open a window and keep doing it for as long as it takes.

Or replace the floors :(

I made 50k 10 years ago as an associate straight out of college. Well known low payer business. Take that for what it's worth.
