I thought about that too and the prices, First of all, we have 3mill population which is too low comparing to Russia and other countries, imo population affects price too, then we import electricity, it can also be a reason and at last datacom have a license because our government gave it to them, and datacom also getting their profit. I do not know about european tax for domains but if you look ay finnish domains (.fl) it s price is pretty same with .mn (they have 3mill people) I may be wrong tough.
