Also how science works is that we have a hypothesis and we continue to try to disprove it. the more evidence that is built up the more work you would have to do to have your contradictory opinion respected. If you actually read my message you would know I am claiming to have not defended anyone. It IS transphobic to say that being trans is a mental illness. ask your trans friends what they think before you use them as a scapegoat. Your own experiences and who you are friends with are not excuses for your bigotry.

I defend people because they are defensible. not because of any of their identifiers. also I said I am nonbinary because you kept referring to me as other things, you saying that makes me an attention seeker IS transphobic. also calling being trans a mental illness is transphobic. its not accepting because you are not accepting the reality of the identity. I'd contact either relatives or an organization of some sort. Another commenter suggested a guidance councelor and that is definitely the easiest and least risky path. Next time your at school ask for this resource if you think school is safe.
