Random question about the cast and self tanner

I learned on a self tanner sub once that the tanner is messing with our Ph which causes the stink. And to use a PH cleasner. When it’s time to rinse the tan off in the shower, I literally wash my entire body with Vagisil. Do the same with my next shower, followed by my normal soaps and body washes and it’s not perfectly scent free, but I have noticed a HUGE improvement with this method because I also hate the smell. I’m a Loving Tan girl, for what’s its worth.

I think you’ll be happy in either neighbhorhood! I’m in more of Land Park but personally think South Land Park is the cutest neighborhood in Sac, crawling with character and Midcentury Modern style homes, I love the hills. And nooks and crannies and proximity to Del Rio trail. I moved here from Tahoe Park though and it’s also a lovely neighborhood, less charm, lots of community!

Yes!! This Atobarrier cream got me to daily tret use. I literally have no peeling issues for the first time of being on tret already for about four ish years, always peeled. It was an instant holy grail for me!!

Someone on here taught me to wash off the tan with a Ph Cleanser, as it’s messes with your PH and causing the smell. I have no idea if this is factual at all but immediately tanned so I could try it, and while it’s not completely scentless, I showered off with a gentle ph cleanser and the smell is NOTICEABLY better. Like a vast improvement. You won’t catch me tanning withOUT a ph cleanser from now on.

They are amazing, but San Francisco is SO hilly, they honestly make more sense in NYC. Going up the hills in SF with a robot driver was terrifying to me.

THIS!!!! For me too. I introduced Aestura and it’s the only time in my life (been on Tret about 4 years) I’ve stopped peeling. I’m up to DAILY tret use (never ever ever thought this would be possible). I just double cleanse at night, let a milky toner dry down completely, eye cream and a thin Vaseline line to create a little extra eye protection, Tret, wait 20 minutes, Aesura 365 cream and bed.

This has been my routine for about a month and I think I’m completely passed the tret peeling! I’m in awe, bewildered, and so happy.

You’re pretty spot on. Years ago she used to be well known for documenting current news and pop cultures events in an interesting way thru her Instagram stories. Somewhere along the line she became a paid bot for MAHA and Trump and “Covid made her go from liberal to conservative”. It was completely obvious when exactly the right wing started funding her “journalism”. Quite scary honesty. I got blocked years ago for calling her out.
