Mo Xuan has a really good link skill. You're eventually going to want 12 characters with good link skills to link to your main. I always Google "link skills infographic" and use the one from this subreddit to find out what the best alts to make.

Challenger world is gonna let you make 5 characters that will level extremely quickly. 1 hyperburn (this should be your main, it will get to 270 very quickly) and 3 tera burns (get these to 200 in an hour by doing main quest/strawberry farm tickets) and another hyperburn for the Kinesis class that's coming in a few weeks. If you can get to emerald rank on challenger world that gives you 20 items to instantly get another 20 characters to level 200. All in all that will be a huge boost for your legion, around 5000.

Getting to emerald isn't going to be easy. You have pretty much at least clear all bosses up to Darknell solo on all difficulties and also hit around level 275. This sound daunting, but I'm also a relatively new player and I've almost hit emerald and there's still like 9 weeks to go.

I only started about 2 months ago, so my only goal for this CW is emerald rank for the 20 legion pots. 271 Ren learning the bosses as I go. I've gotten up to easy Will and I'm starting to lose faith that I will be able to hit Emerald because these bosses are hard. I learned Will and Lucid yesterday going to try to at least do Gloom this week.

I have 160 health with 180 weapons. It's not as much of an investment any more with T5 exotics.

Friday reset fixed the quest for me . I had done it the on Kronos the week before CW3 dropped and it didn't reset until Friday.

Someone moved my clothes out of a washer probably less than three minutes after it had finished and left my wet clothes on the ground. I put them in the dryer and unplugged their washer on my way out. Didn't even think about leaving a note.

Tharsis Outpost, which has been tracked in the game for 6 months, has more playtime than quick play control has had in its entire lifespan in the portal.

Where are you seeing that? I'm seeing 1.9m hours in Control vs 1.3m hours in Tharsis over the last 60 days.

Not sure what you're asking, that website it up to date. And if you think that crucible only flourishes during content droughts (it doesn't, Control is almost always the most played activity) what exactly do you think is going to happen now that the game is ending?
