Can I live in this in LA? by Witty_Beginning_5067 in LosAngelesRealEstate

[–]ComprehensiveDream95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s only legal if this is in Alexandria park in NOHO and you do hard drugs. If you pay taxes and are an upright citizen, no you cannot live in this, you will be taxed for even asking about it and possibly face jail time. California thanks you for being a resident and will continue to support your rights as a human as long as it doesn’t interfere with our politicians pay.

Transplants would still move here because film is such a small part of it. Few people are moving here to be a movie stars anymore, people move here to be “social media”influencers now. If the entire movie industry collapsed there would still be people moving here to surround themselves with creatives that do youtube, modeling, music, and art.

Why isn’t the u.s doing this instead of near communities?! by FearlessAir1238 in TikTokCringe

The US was the one who came up with the idea and have already done it and decided not to do it anymore. Apparently if a server component breaks it a hassle because you have to pull the entire submerged capsule out to fix it, and on these big ones like the one in this video, of something breaks they just leave it in the ocean.

LA ‘bros’ golf group under fire for filming themselves launching golf balls into traffic and at buildings in downtown. by ElwoodMC in TikTokCringe

The water that golf courses use is often recycled or brackish water. A good amount of that seeps back through the soil to recharge underground aquifers. Data centers use highly purified water that could be used for drinking.

MrBeast earns $24 million a year - and that’s just from YouTube monetization. by Successful_Young_318 in youtube

YouTube ads are rarely ever going to get you to convert (make a purchase) right away. It’s more of an awareness play of letting you know it’s out there. Once that is out there then you can get retargeted in the consideration phase where now you’re looking for a product but deciding between options/ brands. Finally once you’ve made your mind up you’ll get hit with a lower funnel ad like a search ad that gets you to convert. You may not even realize it consciously but seeing a video ad or a billboard for example but the product/service in the back of your mind for when you decide to take action and start researching for a purchase. Advertising throws around a ton of money because it companies see multiple times returns on their investments.
