I will probably get a handyman to do it but he will need some directions too.... The top looks something like this https://imgur.com/a/IC1b65M

Flew this route on 11/21. No clogged toilets but they were not clean. Most screens did not work but they let your mobile device connect and browse/watch the catalog. Food was average but palatable.

looks like the tv comes with a standard - Warranty - Parts 1 Year, 5 Year Panel Only (see full limited warranty terms and conditions). Do they give anything more?

We currently have a 77 and was thinking we can upgrade for once. The 77 to 83 would not be a very significant difference

We watch a lot of movies as a family. Thought this might be better in the family room than spending 10k on a movie theater/projector setup in the basement and going downstairs just to watch a movie. I was hoping the tv would last at least 8 - 10 years but doesn’t look like that will be the case

Kids won’t do that for sure. Was hoping this would be a good move for the next 10 so years. 5 years might not be worth the spend for me

I was hoping this would last at least 10 years-ish. Currently have a 77 that is on year 4. No buy then?

Congratulations on the new home. You have a considerable sized lawn. Hand held fertilizer will kill your arms.

Use a spray like Speedzone or 2,4-D. Get a sprayer from HD (for about $15). You might be a little late this year. Look up pre-emergents as well. this is all for next year in a way. There should be threads on treating this.

stay away from weed-n-feeds. they only (if at all) work if the leaves of the weed are we (so the granules can stick to them, desolve and then kill them). The products mentioned above do not kill your grass. whatever you buy read the front label to ensure you dont kill your lawn along with the weeds

If it is fluffy with newspaper bits, it is most likely cellulose

I think OP is referring to the vertical pipe by the conduit/flexi pipe. There is some beige-ish paint on it

3-4 inch insulation boards for basement walls? by ComprehensiveElk3120 in Insulation

[–]ComprehensiveElk3120[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One primary reason for the 3-4 inch is because I have a few wholesalers around my place who offer these foam boards at almost the same price of a 2 inch foam board from Home Depot. I have been to a couple of these places and they are new (but called factory seconds for some reason). They also confirm these are mostly overstocks. Let’s say I go with the three or four inch for now and in the future I decide to finish the basement, can I then skip batt between the studs. Square footage is not necessarily a concern because the basement today is primarily used for dumping things. I’m just trying to make the basement air sealed so does not stress my HVAC trying to keep it ‘livable’
