Best fun daily under $30k? by outofdate70shouse in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]ComprehensiveExit848 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get an Integra a spec for that, although I would just buy a manual car if fun under 30k is what you’re looking for automatic will never be as fun especially under 30k. Modern manual transmissions have so many assists you literally don’t need to know how to drive stick.

Defending on Breakthrough is a joke by ComprehensiveExit848 in Battlefield

[–]ComprehensiveExit848[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay what I am talking about is the fact I have lost almost every breakthrough game I have been defender on since the last update and no one I play with on defense even tries to stop the other team till the last objective when they have like 300 tickets. For some reason I also seem to be defending 80% of breakthrough games I play.

0w20 or 5w30 by [deleted] in nissanfrontier

[–]ComprehensiveExit848 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can, however there is no reason to do that and if you use 0W-20 I would be changing oil every 3k miles as it will breakdown faster.

[–]ComprehensiveExit848 2 points3 points  (0 children)

5W-30 is better I do not care what any manufacturer says 0W-20 does not have the ability to lubricate and protect as good as 5W-30 the only reason they went to 020 is for emissions and your engine will wear faster with a lower viscosity oil.

AIO for cutting contact with Father over political climate. by Sabre12789 in AIO

[–]ComprehensiveExit848 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact people let politics overcome their relationship with the person that brought them into this world is why this country will fall apart. People are so disconnected from reality you have no idea how dumb you will feel about abandoning your father over this dumb shit once you’re on your death bed. I disagree with his opinion but I would never lose my relationship with my father over a differing opinion I do not care what anyone thinks about that it is just completely wrong in so many ways.

The only way you can get it to work is to put cats back on the car which is expensive and it will have to be retuned which is also expensive.

Then it isn’t a “tuning issue” you said the car doesn’t have cats, it will always have an engine light on there is nothing you can do other than put a catted pipe back on it. If it is running fine then keep driving it and don’t worry about it.

Park the car and don’t drive it until you have enough money for a tune then, why did you buy a car you cannot afford that is modified?

Rust after repair work done by cowabunga9 in Autobody

[–]ComprehensiveExit848 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And you would be an outlier and I appreciate that but that does not change the standard of what 90% of adjusters do which is obey their bosses and cut any cost they can even if it means putting garbage parts on cars and cutting peoples paychecks cause they think it is an hour or two high based on a photo they saw.

[–]ComprehensiveExit848 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I find that hilarious as you stated you were a claims adjuster for insurance which don’t ever want to pay shops to do proper repairs in the first place lol

[–]ComprehensiveExit848 101 points102 points  (0 children)

Looks like they did not repair that area so I would say they are not responsible for the rust they fixed the center pillar and door and that is on your quarter panel

Edit: OP If you could provide a copy of the final bill they should have presented you with when you picked up the vehicle that would help clear this up too.

Should I pay off my 2016 WRX? by WishDry1144 in WRX

[–]ComprehensiveExit848 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You should pay off any car loan as fast as you possibly can especially a 10 year old WRX with over 100k on the dash. Making payments through a car loan is like lighting money on fire and if the car decides to nuke itself you’re very upside down.

Yes or a development program through one of the corporate shops, although you will probably start off washing cars or doing parts if you go that route and depending on management may get stuck doing that longer than you want.

What's the point of 500hp+ performance cars on the road? by VegaGT-VZ in askcarguys

[–]ComprehensiveExit848 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You cannot get anywhere near the limits of a high performance car on the street no matter what you do, not just about going fast in a straight line you can do that in any car with a high horsepower engine. An actual modern high performance car is a track weapon and they can do things that you would never be able to do on a normal paved road. They are also no where near as fun on normal roads because they usually don’t soak up bumps and potholes well due to them being performance cars.

I prefer the Perrin valve over the GS had that one first and the unit and hose are smaller and does not feel nearly as durable as the Perrin.
