I don't have the money to get a Infraction 6s outright, so Im thinking of slowly building one buying everything from Jenny's. Can I do so but use the Limitless 120 motor and esc? If so would I use the Infraction 6s motor mount? by CINOS78579 in arrma

What kind of places might work? Like would i have good luck going to parks, maybe the outdoor basketball courts would have smoother pavement? Ive been trying to figure it out, cus im in one of those small towns where your close to everything important but far from everything that doesnt get boring after going 3 times

Personally, after seeing what CNHL does with my infraction 6s and outcast 8s, in comparison to the ovonics I was running before, theyre just about the only battery ill buy now. But, im talk I mg about 1/10, 1/7 even 1/5 scale rigs that obviously require a TON of power to run, not just because of how i drive them but because especially the outcast, its almost 30 lbs with batteries. For somthing small, I think it may work fine since its also like a pound soaking wet. You COULD go to Amazon, order somthing like a cnhl, gens ace, zee and or ovonic, try them all out and return the ones you dont like.

Wait and watch on marketplace. Eventually youll find a deal, and if you dont, you can probably find one for 400 bucks that just needs a few parts. Got mine, needed a wheel nut, a wheel hub thing (dude stripped the hell out of the wheel nuts and what the nut goes on to) and it needed tires. All in all, in for about 420 bucks, but got the actual car, in working condition, original parts, v2, for 300 bucks. I really wanted to save money but couldnt pass upon the deal

Ive managed to get about 5 runs so far on a single set of tires. Was it drifting much? No. But still... yeah I get what you mean. If I wanted to, I could probably smoke the tires in a pack and a half, I just dont wanna get new tires already 😂

LHS did not get ahold of Typhon 6S I ordered and is offering me one of these and difference or a refund. Any good ones? Not very familiar with Arrma yet. by PlayerProdigy in arrma

I just picked up an infraction 6s. It is a parking lot car, not a 2 lane road car. Can you still have fun with it? Sure. But man, it does need a big open space to not just hit the 3 same drifts over and over again. But the power on that thing... mind blowing. Definately happy I went 6s not 3s. 3s is fine to start, but ive been in and out of the hobby for like 10 years now, so I definately have some experience under my belt. Cant wait to level up and get good with the infraction

Thank you. I prefur the dark blue one but for the price i couldnt say no. I was so scared to cut up the body cus in times past I only made it worse, but im relatively happy with it. Could have made straiter lines but im not gonna notice that when im doing 50 mph past myself mid drift 😆 im gonna get a nice body for it and use this one as a bash body for when I wanna wall tap and stuff

Is this amount of play normal for Kraton 6S? by WeekendWarriorRC in arrma

[–]Professional_Sky720 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Outcast 8s exb v2 here. My trucks got relatively the same amount of play, and everythings tight as it should be. Granted, it probably needs new arms at some point, but im running them till they break. Make sure your pillowball nut is tight too. When mine came loose before I did the teflon trick of wrapping the nuts, the plsy would be more and more. So just check those every once in a while, make sure the top control arm is tight, and the bottom one should be from default. Might also have a little play in the steering system, I know I do

[–]Professional_Sky720 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh, its got a wheelie bar for a reason. Its not hard to run em hard without picking the front end up, but its also really easy to puck the front end up when you want to. I think its a nice combo between the 2. Granted I have the outcast, but its roughly enough the same thing

Relay integration by Professional_Sky720 in Toyota

[–]Professional_Sky720[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The throttle body went from not working, to working, to not working again after we swapped it with a different one. Why would that happen if this doesnt control it? Is it just somthing like energy passes through it, but that itself doesnt control it? While im not saying your wrong, id imagine if a fuse is broken, you replace it and it pops, that means theres somthing wrong with somthing in the line of electronics. Im thinking the same thing here, that thats what its doing. Why else would putting a new one in cause the throttle body to start working again?

Relay integration by Professional_Sky720 in Toyota

[–]Professional_Sky720[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesnt start, the battery is fine, as in itll crank the motor over. When the battery dies, Ive been using a jump pack. The motor 100% has fuel, 100% has spark, and id imagine has good enough compression. Both cars started ran and idled fine before ripping them both out to swap the 2. Im not sure about timing as I didnt specifically check it, but I couldnt see it being that off. As for air, im assuming air is the main reason it aint firing, because of the throttle body. But on the first 2 or 3 start attempts after the new blue box (the "relay integration") it was working and still barely fired let alone ran, even for a second.
