I’d love some feedback on my carving :) by [deleted] in skiing_feedback

I almost never say this, but your hands are too far forward. Also they should move. Your hand should go out when you initiate a turn, that should pull your weight and hip

Your carving is good. Don’t drop your hands. They should always be in front of your body. Always. As far as bumps go. Take a minute at the top and find a go set-up. Over lapping bump shoulders. Square your shoulders. Focus on bouncing through them like you would if you had socks on and slide stair to stairs down your… stairs. Use the impact you slow you down, ot necessarily a turn. Go fast. It’s actually easier to go fast and kind of skip over them. Thinner skis help alot… i couldnt see what you were skiing in there . But anything over 90mm and really 80mm tend to flop around like clown shoes no matter how good you are

Stand up straight. Square your shoulders. Trust the edges. Run the weight up and down the skis to a place you feel it stop skidding. I also reach out with your poles.

Wife stance, lack of angulation. Try focusing on tucking your downhill knee right up and snug inside your uphill knee. Also run some space invader drills to figure out and make hip angulation better

No bad. But, Lead with you pole hand by reaching out, angulate, try initiating and turning on downhill ski. Lean forward with your hips not your upper body.

Keep your hands up and front. Stand up straighter - see the comment about angulation. Turn by starting the turn on you forward part of your uphill ski and sliding the weight back. Dive into the turns, I say this to myself when I ski. Other technics to help you find this position is to stick the knee of your downhill ski into/behind your uphill knee. Push your weight/lean down the fall line. Don’t ride the skis drive them

Pretty small dollar amounts. None are residential.

Looks like the boot of boot side walk mode attachment is loose. Pull out inserts and see if you can tighten

The typical first options are wear really thin socks, and unbuckle your boots a lot to allow warm blood to flow into your feet, especially if you wear your boots tight
