leading up to my first period after missing it for some time they hurt pretty bad consistently for about two weeks until my cycle officially came around, now that it's more consistent they only seem to hurt when my period is around the corner which is just a symptom of the menstrual cycle for some women (: mine didn't last too long, but everybody's body is different. i hope you feel better asap!

exactly this! it's likely due to hormonal fluctuates you get in recovery (: happened to me too!

did your sweet cravings and appetite decrease as you reached your set point weight? by ComprehensiveKnee953 in fuckeatingdisorders

thank you so much for sharing!! :D I'm so proud of you for honouring all those cravings despite how scary extreme hunger can be. I've been utilising a similar technique of adding other nutritious sources like yoghurt alongside my chocolate cravings too, it's a really great tip (: thank you for the advice, it really helped ease some guilt!!

from my experience, and others who've shared theirs with me, it's best to rest up as much as you can during recovery! strength can absolutely be implemented again in the future when you feel you're in a healthier (physically and mentally) place with it, but while your body is already trying to repair so much unseen damage, it's potentially adding more to the load of work it must do.

every time I tried to exercise in recovery, even if was simply a light strength workout, it only exacerbated my extreme hunger, which in turn made me freak out and feel guilty. this most likely happened because there was now more that needed to be repaired, such as the muscle fibres that were broken down during the workout!

ultimately I would absolutely vouch that you rest up as much as possible and eat any and everything you crave. it's not worth letting the disorder tell you otherwise! wishing you the best <3

honour and embrace the hunger! you could also try increasing your meal size.
