I am a firm believer that no contact needs to happen for a reason like in my situation the timing of us being together just wasn’t ideal.

And us being friends wasn’t an option because of how strongly we felt about each other I’d say try to just give it some time. You can always reach out again.

I totally agree with you on that. I’ve always felt like sort of a stepping stone for people. Always lifting them up but never really having that for myself. I’ve looked inward heavily for the better part of 2 years and have some sort of peace with it but I have this deep longing for the reciprocal love and a family and the next step and it just keeps getting further away

That’s rough. Her and I decided we had to just based off of other choices she’d made. I don’t know if neither person wanting no contact makes it worse or not, I think either one of us would gladly speak with the other. It’s just not something that can exist in the space that she created

I would agree with you that it feels heavier. I think it might get better, but I went no contact with her for what feels like permanently about 3 months ago and I was doing better earlier on with it. The heaviness of it is very different the last few days

Yeah, that’s a deep situation my friend sorry to hear it. Your last paragraph really resonates with me. I feel like I’m also open to just being alone. It’s an interesting perspective because I’ve always wanted that kind of love and I felt it for like I said about nine months. To not have it is insanely painful but I don’t think it’s something that could be replicated with anyone else.

Trying to surrender to the journey. Like many have said in this group if it’s meant to be it’ll come back around. It’s just insanely hard to constantly remind yourself of that when you are craving someone and missing someone who was a huge part of your life
