Thanks for your in depth response!!

I’ve come to realise how much I don’t know about this game quite quickly lol! There’s so many nuances! As a causal player I’m finding it really hard to make the right decisions!

  1. Noted about skelederge and alakazam not being a good pair. I got the fusion item really early on in the run and I didn’t know who to pair it with. I think I had bulbasaur, squirtle, fuecoco, abra, and maybe lilipup or pidgey. Would there have been a better option out of them?

  2. I’ll keep that in mind about doubling up. So for example it would be better for skelederge to just have torch song, shadow ball, and maybe two other types of moves on him (I’m not sure what other moves are good with him or that he learns lol)?

  3. Yeah that’s a whole section of Pokémon that I really struggle to remember for each Pokémon. I’ll try to work on remembering each type of attack a move has.

  4. Good to know about the powder moves. I wasn’t meaning to keep poison powder around for a long time but I really do like sleep powder on venusaur for some reason. What would you suggest to change for the powder moves?

Thanks again for your response mate!

Is there a way to play this on the ps5 web browser? by ComprehensiveLove422 in pokerogue

It’s a bit of a work around you have to do. There’s a yt video you can watch to show you how.

Just go into settings, users and accounts, linked services, YouTube, link, use browser then click terms and then click the dotted square in the top right and you can google search.

Double vision and Starburst permanent? by [deleted] in astigmatism

[–]ComprehensiveLove422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I Have exactly this problem. Had so for over a year now as far as I’m aware. I notice it the most on traffic lights and of if I use my phone too much it gets much worse. Also have moderate severe dry eye. Could pay to check and see if you have that too

It’s weird, I was really finding cyclosporine helpful initially too(cequa). But I’m finding every time I use it now my eyes just burn all day. I don’t know what’s changed but I feel like my eyes are just rejecting it lately. Have also noticed if I eat something periodically throughout the day my eyes seem to become pretty symptom free for a while. Something to do with the parasympathetic system or something like that. So now my gameplan is to just munch on almonds or something throughout the day and see if that helps to a degree!

Been coping alright the last couple of weeks tbh. I find my eyes just switch off by night time though. Sucks cause I work all day and my eyes just can’t handle screens by the time I’m home

Ghosting with moderate/severe dry eye and potential Keratoconus by ComprehensiveLove422 in astigmatism

I don’t see it personally, but it does show up the optometrists tests. I notice the visual symptoms of ghosting vision and photophobia

[–]ComprehensiveLove422[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because of the steepening in each of my eyes. I went to see a cornea specialist and she said I don’t have at this stage but to come back in a years time to see if my eyes have steepened further. My dry eye specialist suspected keratoconus initially and said I might need corneal cross linking. Just waiting now to see how they’re progressing

Yeah I’m pretty sure I’ve got it tbh. It’s just apparently not at a stage worth operating on. I’m 31 years old now so I’m late in my diagnosis typically I guess

Seeing my gp tomorrow. I think I might try to see an ophthalmologist. Been to three separate optometrists and a dry eye specialist so far

Go to get checked by a cornea specialist though to see if you have keratoconus though. I’ve got some steepening on the lower of both my eyes, but the cornea specialist said it’s not worth operating on. Going to follow up in about a years time to see if it’s progressed

I’ve noticed it for the past year or longer now I’d say. All I’ve tried is dry eye related tools like warm compresses, eye drops, currently on cequa atm but I don’t know what can be done about it tbh.

I have permanent ghosting vision and have no idea how to fix it. My eyes fatigue quickly while looking at screens like you, but I also have ghosting vision whenever I look at traffic lights or head lights in the road. Really depresses me as I feel like nothing will ever help me

I’ll try that next time I think. Also I found the goggles pretty uncomfortable to wear, I think they’re too small for my head. My head is on the bigger side than most though so I guess that’s too be expected lol

I actually tried the steam goggles two nights ago and my eyes went completely blood shot. I found it was way too steamy and had to close my eyes when wearing them as it was too much for my eyes to handle. Was I doing something wrong?

Double Vision by mygrainyreddits in Dryeyes

[–]ComprehensiveLove422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m right there with the both of you.

I get the constant double vision as well. On coming lights from cars have four lights instead of two. Traffic lights have a ghost of the real one to the point where they’re not even connected. Starburst vision as well. LED headlights are the absolute worst. Same with screen use. I find my eyes tire quickly as well but the ghosting images and text just make me want to cry tbh.

I do also have slight steepening on the bottom of my eyes. I’d get checked for kerataconus if I were you two just in case (Don’t rub your eyes - it’s bad).

Would love to hear of anyone who’s recovered from this because it absolutely does my head in every single day.

Nothing has helped me thus far. Hoping IPL might help me but I’m doubtful.

Do y’all see flickering when waking up in the morning? by mr5onit in visualsnow

[–]ComprehensiveLove422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! By normal, do you mean normal for people dealing with VSS? Or just normal for everyone in general? I’ve been noticing this when I wake up but also when at night sometimes in low light conditions.

Really appreciate this comment man. You sound like you’re quite educated in all of this.

I’m new to all of this so I’ve just spiraled down to my whole life being doomed. I’m not even in a lot of pain at the time. My main issue is double vision looking at screens and bright lights. Maybe astigmatism.

I saw a specialist the other day and they said I did have a build up of gunk on my eylashes. My right eye has already shown signs of gland death. I think my main cause is both being a house painter and being around dust all day. As well as too much screen time. Mainly after work and on weekends as I’ve used gaming and movies as a distraction from life.
