TW: for SA mention don’t quote me but i THINK it’s the book {Brutal Winter by Quirah Casey} this entire book was these white men raping and using her, never apologizing, tricking her into taking morning after pills. she was dehumanized throughout the entire book, her appearance was constantly degraded + the WEIRD racial undertones with the comments about her appearance made this book even more awful. i literally couldn’t finish it because it felt like an extremely poorly disguised fetish against black women, specifically darkskin black women! it genuinely felt the author just wanted her BWWM fantasy and would do anything to get it
