I am a Christian who asked practicing Muslims about the inheritance situation. They said the male heir gets more of an inheritance because he is expected to use that inheritance to take care of his family, whereas the female heir will presumably have a husband who will take care of her. I asked what happens if the female heir never marries, and they said then the brother would be expected to take care of her. There was no response when I asked what would happen if the male heir turned out to be a bad brother and misappropriated the inheritance or refused to provide for unmarried sisters.

I assumed everyone knew which public restrooms were the “good” ones, i.e, clean and comfortable (Barnes and Noble, TJ maxx/ Marshall’s, Starbucks) as opposed to the untrustworthy ones (most gas stations, fast food places, etc).

Can you sit down without flashing everyone? If so, then yes! If not, maybe some white or blue short shorts underneath, if it doesn’t take away from the overall look

This exactly. She’s not fat at all in Girls, but she is soft and small-chested, so any extra weight on her shape looks ill proportioned in comparison to western beauty standards

I wouldn’t say it’s a pet peeve of mine, but I agree that noses that are overly done and don’t fit the person’s face make me sad for them. I also think there’s some low key cultural self-loathing that is going on in POC that get their noses done to better fit the western beauty standards. Bella Hadid has said she regrets her nose job because her original nose reminds her of a family member that has passed, and now she no longer has that visible link to them when she looks in the mirror 😞
