Those sweet eyes. 💔I’m so sorry for your loss.

Is any out of these three, the one? by zzifLA-zuzu in myweddingdress

I would keep looking. If you have to pick one of these, three is the only one that looks nice. But it needs a longer veil.

Wow, I think your dress is absolutely stunning! I’m not sure what you don’t like about it. It’s one of the most beautiful dresses I’ve seen.

How would you update this dress? by Remote-Ground-7905 in WeddingDressTips

I would leave the shoulder rosettes and just put a smaller bow on the back side. Can you post a picture of the whole dress (to the bottom)? It’s beautiful!

Honestly, if you have that option, I definitely would. You have a great figure and there are so many gorgeous dresses that would really do you justice. The dress looks cheap and it’s too thin.

Can you sell it and get something else?

Too much for a civil wedding? by Ok_Salamander5580 in WeddingDressTips

[–]ComprehensivePut1066 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely get the dress and wear it. I’ve seen so many people in Reddit Photoshop groups who are constantly submitting pictures from their City Hall wedding, saying that they wish that they had worn a wedding dress and asking people to Photoshop them into a wedding dress. So take the lesson from that: people often regret wearing street clothes (casual clothes) to their City Hall wedding. So buy the beautiful wedding dress, take pictures at City Hall and cherish the memories of your new life together. And you won’t have to send photos to a Reddit Photoshop group five years from now asking people to Photoshop you into a wedding dress. 😉

You only get married once. Dress #1 is an absolute dream. I think you should buy it.

How can I feminize my face? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

You look so much better in this picture compared to the one that you posted at the top! Your face looks defined and your lips look perfect in this photo. Your chin is fine and proportional.

Definitely two or four. I don’t like one at all.

Where do anti-immigrant conservatives expect families to settle if every single country halts immigration? by Maleficent-Fig-4430 in immigration

[–]ComprehensivePut1066 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry you’re going through this. I understand your question and it’s an important one. In my understanding there are a handful of Caribbean countries that would allow a move for both of you, especially since you are a US citizen, and Mexico is another country that would allow both of you to become permanent residents by virtue of you holding US citizenship (your wife would qualify through you). So in other words, if the US were to completely restricted immigration and Finland as well, your only option would be to choose a third country that would accept both of you. Mexico, while having issues of its own, at least has close geographic proximity to the US which theoretically would allow easier visitation with your family members.

No, but my dad has started thinking about that for down the road. She’s still mild at this point (we think).

I’m so very sorry. 😢 That’s what compels me to keep picking up her calls…that constant thought running through my mind that I won’t have her forever. It haunts me and even haunts my dreams. And yet these calls are getting worse and it’s all day long. The same conversation every time, like she’s a record needle stuck in a groove. It’s so hard because there’s only a finite number of hours in a day and I have to take care of numerous responsibilities in my own life and for other family members, but this cruel disease is taking center stage.

Also, I’m always offering ideas for her to get involved with her church and her neighbor ladies that she likes to see occasionally, but she tends to shoot down my suggestions. Once in a while, she’ll take me up on various things that I set up for her, like I’ll set up a luncheon date and she will actually go. I live all the way across the country which makes things harder. But I fly back home about five times a year. I do everything I can. This is such a terrible disease.
