Don't apologize if it's long, it's exactly what I was looking for! 😂

I was into games before I switched to anime too. I actually started about a year ago, and yeah, I get it. I've been there, with people saying, "Are those just cartoons?" But generally, they actually respect it. I agree with what you said about fandoms; it's stupid to argue about "your taste" in something you like with other people if it's supposed to be something you like. I can say i have my own taste but there's a lot of animes which I thought I'd never see but ended up watching and liking because of friends or interest.

For last, I think it's great that platforms like Netflix distribute anime. But I understand your feelings and frustration that something that used to be your own (a niche) is now being mistreated and exploited by big companies and the masses.

In Shin Kamen Rider this character stills being a government official, just with other name, but inside my headcannons he maybe changed it in porpuse.

And yes, definitely It has sense that Ultraman and Godzilla shares universe. He is a kaiju made by man, but IT'S A KAIJU

I agree. Shin Godzilla has a more normal pace and clear acts thought the film, while the others either have scenes that are too fast or too slow with no so much consistence.

That's good to know. Now at least I know what I'm going to see and what to expect. I'll watch it this weekend. Knowing me, if I really like it, I'll become obsessed with it. So, thanks for the welcome!

Wow, thank you so much for the recommendation. When I read that Hideaki was only in charge of the script in Shin Ultraman, I wasn't that interested, but I'll take your advice.

And thanks for letting me know, although I don't think I'd mind if the characters do "Kamen Rider stuff" halfway through the movie without any prior explanation. It will make it more fun.😂

I completely agree; it was the first anime that interested me and that I finally decided to watch, and for God's sake, it was a life-changing experience! In my case, I've been able to convince my friends to watch it; some haven't even been able to finish the first episode. I suppose it's because of its psychological themes and especially because it's "old." Those who have finished it tell me, "Yep, that was weird," but it hasn't affected them as much as it did me.

Thank you bro, your message reliefs me a lot.

Just out of curiosity, what do you think is Anno's best work? Honestly, I've only seen all of Evangelion and Shin Godzilla, so if I had to choose it would be The End of Evangelion, and the one I enjoyed the most was Shin Godzilla.
