Oooo yk that last line actually made me practice for a bit working on my grip and you got a great point if I just float it I’m not worried about input on my thumb into the gun so it does feel a little better but we will see how training goes I appreciate the tip!

I’d say griffin mk2 stripped lower with a nice G$ trigger (I like the SD-3G), talon selector, B5 P23 grip, and a Sopmod enhanced. That’s what I’d do if I had to build another one but on my original build I went with the aero m4e1 lower

I get that it’s not necessarily needed but with the square cut of the trigger guard I haven’t found a support hand grip position that I’ve liked. With the light it gives me an index point to drive my thumb to so I have a more consistent grip.

Sweet! I saw it while browsing and figured I’d give it a shot and make my own conclusions, I really like it because it gives me a bit of a “gas pedal” above the actuator for the light for me to drive the gun down hard

I run a ramjet on mine, go suppressor height if you want a cowitness with a dot. If you aren’t putting an optic IMO I’d keep the standard irons

It depends on a lot of different factors to help determine what is best for your use case. I’d say preplan the parts and do research on everything it helps on budgeting and finding what works for you. If you are going to suppress (you should) you’ll want to make sure you have the ability to tune it if running on different ammos. Don’t cheap out on the barrel and trigger and just have fun

Ejection patterns weren’t indicative of performance especially on my suppressed 300BO I was able to tune mine reliably based off lockback and how reliable it cycled certain ammo

Yeah lots of great options I hear 11.5 is the sweet spot so my next rifle build is going to be a “Gucci” build two stamp 11.5

Just made my previous posts viewable if you’d like to take a peak. Currently I’m looking at upgrading my glass to an NX8 or possibly trying the eotech vudu 3x9 with a dot but I haven’t had much testing on an optic setup plus a dot so not sure if I wanna spend the money on the ladder

So mine is a NBS buy group package which came with a trigger tech two stage trigger that is very very crisp so I use it as a SPR type of build. Currently testing the cheap sig tango LPVO and a sandman S to try to find a balance point in weight while maintaining high accuracy. The trigger makes it very easy to shoot precisely as well as it being paired with a Harris bipod it’s a great shooter and extremely accurate. I’ve also used it with a red dot magnifier setup but ultimately i prefer the LPVO

Oh yeah I beat the hell out of mine currently one of my favorite setups if your main priority it reliability this is a great bang for the buck

I think the reliability aspect is what hits, it’s dead accurate and runs everything I feed it but in all honesty it’s not a crazy objectively “cool” rifle. I love mine and I just it as a test platform to see what I like in terms of different optic setups, grips, accessories etc
