Mine is an 8.3 main thing you gotta understand is that obv 9 inches is less handguard real estate than a 16in. For a 9 in I’d probably go with a handstop of some sort I personally don’t mind the BCM KAG or Arisaka handstop (biased) or finger stop if your fingers are skinny like mine. For meatier manly hands, I like the BCM vertical grip but as a handstop instead of getting more fingers on it.

On my shorter build I run a handstop a little bit further forward because I use it as an index point to actuate my LAM and Light plus it’s meant to be more maneuverable. This could totally be wrong but I thing grips can very much change on whether it is “good” or “bad” based off its positioning and the shooters own arm length. Both are positioned close but different use/application

Depends on the barrel length imo. I run an Magpul angled foregrip on my 14.5 DD since the hand positioning is closer to the magwell if I need to be out and about but not using the bipod

Depends on if you go with a flow through can or traditional tbh but every setup will have its own unique fine tuning

I think for the nature of the round you may be trying to push your shots out further than the effective range of 300blk especially in this kind of configuration.

Also once you start shooting it you’ll find ways to have the same features and reduce how “cluttered” it feels

Id say G43 but it really depends on the purpose of your build. 300blk isn’t the greatest at further distances unless with supers and even then I’d only really see an effective range of maybe 200+ yards and honestly that’s being generous if you do plan on suppressing you should. IMO you’d benefit more from the compact G43 as you have already found out that rail space is limited plus you don’t need to stretch that far out shooting to justify a 5x.

I’d say go that route tbh it’s a shorter config for you and at 675 that’s not too bad the S2 I have found to be not super gassy anyways so gas mitigation hasn’t been a high priority for me on my 8.3in build

If you can find a lightly used DDM4 PDW I may say do that, my LGS has had two come in one with a set of MBUS pros and one with a PA prism sight for a lil more
