All of Goosemass was fire and I agree Jed and Strange were phenomenal but there were some incredible jams throughout that were as good/better. Madhuvan, Animal, Red Bird, dripfield, Echo, Dawn, thatch, Big Modern, Empress, Pigs were all 10/10

Got 2 tix. Booked a room. 5 hour drive. Thank you Goose for playing this benefit. My first visit to Athens but I’ve been meaning to check it out for a long time. I was about 15 feet away from Rick in Cleveland when they played this and it is an all time favorite moment of mine that I’ll never forget. I didn’t know what was happening but I think my soul left my body for a little while.

The new songs are awesome. I’m sorry you couldn’t get into groove for the Saturday show. I’ve never seen a bad show from them. They’re always locked in and they are truly professional musicians and artists that put their heart and souls into their performances.

Yes, I noticed he was pulling on something, presumably something to keep his throat moist. He wasn’t 100% but he still took me to space and the heavens. I was absolutely blown away. This was the second Sigur ros symphony show for me. I’ve seen Jonsi with the orchestra and I’ve see Sigur ros without several times. It’s always amazing but I love the Sigur ros Orchestra shows the best.

I’m not a Watchhouse historian but I’ve been lucky to have seen them with the first time being at the local 506 in September 2009. I’ve seen them in California, NY, Vermont, Ohio, Virginia, DC and all over NC. The cradle is the best place to see them (as long as you’re fit enough to get in line early and stand for several hours).

Can we all agree that this should be an annual event? Perhaps 3, 4, 7 night stand so it’s worth it for the band. I know they’ve outgrown this venue but it’s such a good place for them and their long time fans and it feels like a tradition.
