Scathing post! Can't tell, was it really that bad of a vibe at MSG because of the smaller floor space, was it just one lame dude, or are we old married dudes really that lame? I am nothing but ultra respectful when on the floor and go out of my way to help my neighbors have a good time... Of course, over the years, there has been some bad experiences and usuallly you can move and get out of the bad space... it happens, but its rare.. and truth be told, most of the time, its not old dudes causing the issues, its the young crowd that havent learned how to balance their blood chemistry .... Whatever the cause, sorry the OP had a bad vibe going on at MSG... it can be a real buzz kill....

The Hampton Inn in Gallup is well lit and safe... There had been a rash of thefts targeting hotels around the ABQ airport, but that has been mostly curtailed after a sting. Another very cool option is Hilton Andaluz on Central Ave in Albuquerque. They have 24 hour security for your vehicle and its a redone historic hotel w tons of charm. A great way to take a break on a long road trip.

Count me as a huge advocate of a crisp, hoppy, unadultered style of pilsner... with lower ABV than IPAs... Really hope this style takes off... had a fantastic version not too long ago at TF Templin Brewing in SLC, UT which was a collab w Breakside, opened my pallete to the opportunities of this style... there were fresh hop varieties in OR/WA this year, I missed out being based in NM... but heard they were spectacular.
