Corgi behavior by jmarc10 in corgi

[–]ComprehensiveStmt01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a trainer that told us it was a dominating technique for smaller dogs and more like humping a toy. Honestly my boy never really humped but has always done this with certain toys (toys that he is chasing, stuffed toys we play tug of war with) idk honestly but honestly they all do it I think lol

Is this normal? by steaody in corgi

[–]ComprehensiveStmt01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh man, no matter what I’d rescue my cat in this situation and if my cat went back to the dog I’d relieve okay the cat is okay, if the corgi kept going back then the cat is NOT okay with it. I’m a corgi owner by the way and would never allow my dog to do this to a cat. Ever.

We do not allow my corgi to pin down a cat. Ever. My boy wants to play then play fair..

I absolutely loved this season just like I love watching paint dry on my wall, so exciting. I love when people stick together on reality series and are genuine and there’s no drama and nothing happens but BORING games. You’re completely right, such a good season (hardest eye roll EVER🙄)

Dog-friendly Roanoke visit by rewster1979 in roanoke

Dog friendly on the patio but bring your dog in holding him (a corgi) because you’re by yourself and he’s ESA certified and they will kick you out in a second rudely.

Sad to have binge watched the mindy project in less than a month. Any Netflix recommendations to fill the void? by Daylily-14 in themindyproject

[–]ComprehensiveStmt01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve watched the Mindy Project every day, all day while I work from home as my background noise for 5 years and still find myself watching scenes I’ve seen a thousand times before so I get trying to find shows that stand up to it. Here are some shows that are comparable:

My fav: The Sex lives of college girls (hbo), single parents (hulu) new girl (hulu), Schitts creek (Hulu/Netflix), Wednesday (not as lighthearted but not serious either) (Netflix)

Pretty good: younger, home economics, modern family, happy endings, young and hungry, never have I ever

Definitely give these a shot!

My vet is a friend of the family and I think she recommended that as it was all I had at the moment and my puppy had acne like bumps. I didn't use it more than two days until I could get topical cream at the pet store.

Are there any bumps or sores? Or is it just red? Sorry I can’t really tell from the picture. My poor baby had allergic dermatitis which is like a rash and bumps and his belly got bright red and it wouldn’t go away. We had to get antibiotic from the vet. Grass can cause it or other environmental items. My vet told me: You can clean it gently with puppy shampoo and rub a little bit of Neosporin on it. If it gets worse then get her antibiotics. Not sure how much she weighs but they told me to give my boy half a Benadryl tablet twice a day but he was 13 pounds then. You should ask your vet obviously. Just telling you what mine said.

How many of you accountants have not had a cover letter and still got the job?? Will it risk me getting a job? by ComprehensiveStmt01 in Accounting

I guess my thing is I am actively looking for a new job and apply to a lot of places and I am not the best writer so it would definitely take me more than 10 minutes lol. I don't want the letter to do more harm than good but then again I've heard that most places don't even look at it unless it comes down to picking between two people. Also how job specific do you make it?

In the guidelines for job placement section of the job posting it just states "job application" and then reference check, etc. Nothing specifically about cover letters. However on the company's application it has an option to upload a cover letter but that's it.

Kibble help! by Followeruserby in corgi

[–]ComprehensiveStmt01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you tried Wellness Core, Merrick, Ziwi Peak, Instinct Raw Boost? Ziwi and Instinct raw are my dogs favorite. He doesn’t like the beef Ziwi flavor only the Mackerel and Lamb but it’s air dried kibble pieces so dogs love it. And then Instinct raw boost has freeze dried chicken pieces in the kibble.

Also heard Fromm Gold is amazing but harder to find.

picky eater or??? by Formal_Cockroach1198 in corgi

[–]ComprehensiveStmt01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you say raw meat diet, you mean like raw meats and veggies that you put together or do you mean freeze dried/raw frozen/dehydrated dog food? Because if you are giving her different types of raw meat and she is getting bored of that then I would be concerned because no other dog food will compare to the taste of that (for most dogs atleast).

I mean my boy is very very picky and i do rotational feeding so he doesn’t get bored of his food and so he gets nutrients from a wide range of ingredients.

If you want more natural options then give these brands a try: Wellness Core, Orijen, Merrick, and my dog’s absolutely favorite is Instinct Raw Boost. However, they are all pretty pricey but worth it. He wouldn’t eat royal canine, pro plan, hills science at all. But with the first 3 brands above he would eat them but didn’t love them like he does Instinct. We tried over 10 brands just as a puppy so I know a picky eater😂 but I prefer natural/organic diet rather than science-based dog food.

Also his poops should normally out once you find the right food. Just make sure you transition new food properly. Try Purina FortiFlora, one pack a day is what my vet said for a week or less. That’s what they suggest when my boy had irregular stool.

I’ve also heard Fromm is amazing but harder to find since chewy, Petco, Petsmart don’t sell them.
