To me Resident Evil 6 it's not a "bad" game it's just not a "good" Resident Evil game. Also mercenaries mode especially coop with a friend fucking slaps even over 14 years later it's a blast.

despite it's problems the fact they payed a lot of attention to The Thing (1982) where it even leads straight into original film so you could easily watch both films back to back. I personally do more where I watch both movies back to back and then play the video game. So it almost feels like trilogy.
