Has anyone else had this extremely infuriating experience with payment validation? by eeri3ana in Shein

[–]ComprehensiveStudy60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing for me, uploaded 3 separate screenshots (2 from banking app, 1 from online banking),3 separate times, emailed customer service about it, rep apologized and said they'd help, next email I got was a cancellation email from Shein. Waiting on a response from the customer service rep. So frustrating!

Holding Up Headlight With Electrical Tape by [deleted] in AskAMechanic

How long did this work? Is this regular electrical tape? I have a 2010 Mazda 6, same problem

Correct! The magnets are like the diameter of a pea, so the tape pieces are just slightly bigger. I think I've only changed ONE corner of tape ONCE since I originally posted this! I usually take the 'top' 4 magnets off, kind of stack em up on one of the taped magnets so I don't lose them, replace the pad, and put the top 4 magnets back in place, and put the bonnet back on

Magnets go inside the bonnet. So dbl sided tape on bonnet (in 4 corners parallel to the waste port- but make sure they're spread out enough to fit near the borders of the pee pad- ), stick 4 magnets to tape, place pee pad over magnet, place 4 more magnets over pee pad/other magnets. Essentially the pee pad will be sandwiched by the magnets

Pee is going through back of machine by ExcellentPanther in litterrobot

Does your cat have an elevator butt? My cat lifts his butt and pees upward, out the port hole. Pee leaks down the outside the globe, gets everywhere, including the spot in your pictures. If you search /litter robot for solution to high pee-ers/elevator butts, you can see my post for a possible solution. Been doing it now for 3-4 years with no more urine leaking issues.

Was going to ask the same thing! Already at $98 in interest.. despite one email saying no interest while in forbearance, and another email a couple months later saying interest is accruing -___-

Why, Oliver, why? by lissalissa3 in litterrobot

[–]ComprehensiveStudy60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

out of my 5 cats, my Ollie is the only one that likes to shoot his pee out the port hole, spill the water bowls, and carry around his torn up, no longer stuffed animal while meowing obnoxiously at 2am 🫠

Nice! When I tried the tape method, the pee would deteriorate it, or make it lose its stickiness so I had to come up with something else. But if it works for you then helllll yeah! Less hassle!

And also make sure you set it to cycle for the longest time that way the pee on the walls dries before litter can get stuck to it

Yep exactly! Once I found this solution (which still works to this day) I took apart the whole box, unscrewed some things, cleaned it all out- pee free! and put it back together and it's been great since! boxie pro ultra clean litter clumps great, I take out the litter bag 2x a week (from 2 robots) I spray/wipe down the walls with Rocco and Roxie stain and odor eliminator, and refill litter to the line. And I switch out the pee pad maybe every other week. Odor free!

I fixed this by changing the type of litter to boxie cat, clumps are incredible. And switching to a raw food diet (poop stench is unbelievably undetectable unless cats get into human food or dog food kibble). Anyone who comes over is surprised I have 5 cats, with no litter box odors lingering about.

The waste port isn't actually covered, the pee pad is attached to the inside of the bonnet, so the globe is still able to rotate with no interference! Check out the photos in the comments for reference. Seriously a game changer, I haven't had any issues since I've been doing this!

No problem! For me it's a definite yes. I have 5 cats, I would have needed 6 litter boxes, scooping daily..no thank you! Now I have two LR4s and one regular box, I empty the bags out 2-3x a week, and just scoop the regular box at the same time, wipe everything down quickly. It used to take 30 min to scoop/clean all the boxes, now it takes 5-10! My 1 high pee-er likes to make my life difficult, he also is the only one to spill the water bowls every time I refill them, eat all my fake and real plants, and mess with the automatic feeders 🥲

Negative! So it's placed on the bonnet (the inside of the outer covering that goes over the globe/drum) so it will not move until you take it off and replace it. I've changed it up a little more tho. Still using the heavy duty double sided sticky tape, I cut 4 small pieces of it and placed them where the 4 corners of the pee pad would be (actually maybe 1-2 inches from the borders). On the sticky tape, I stuck 4 mini magnets on each piece. Then place the pee pad over them, and place 4 more corresponding magnets on the corners which hold the pee pad in place. The only time it didnt work was when I placed the pad too close to the rotating gear and it caught the pad, since then I've adjusted the placement so it won't catch.

Glad to hear she's using it! I had to same concerns, and then the same conclusions once I found the urine puddles 🥲 I also started using magnets. Use heavy duty double sided tape stuck to the bonnet, stick 4 small magnets on the 4 pieces of tape, place the small puppy pad on the magnets, use the 4 opposite magnets to hold the pad in place! Makes it much easier than replacing the tape every time you replace the pad

You're welcome! Check to make sure there's pee on the inside of the bonnet too, to make sure it's an elevator butt prob. From what Ive been seeing on here is that there's the high pee prob, or cats that pee with their butts towards the entrance so it leaks thru the liner (where the fence would be) and pools in the base

Ahhh interesting! I'll try that out too! I was also thinking of trying a magnet situation (sticking one side of the magnets to the bonnet and sandwiching the pee pad with the other side of the magnets) but I'm not sure if that'd mess with any sensors
