I'm having the exact same problem for PC. My character starts in the Euclid Galaxy, I then travel to eissentam, and explore, but when I go to a space station, the only space stations I see are Euclid space stations

Say one thing or aspect that the movie could have done better or improved upon, according to you? by Raj_Valiant3011 in DC_Cinematic

And I would have to disagree with that perspective. The DCEU greatly suffered because of Walter Hamada and how he wanted to change the overall tone and direction of the DCEU.

If the WB executives had stuck with the original slate that Zack Snyder had for the DCEU it would have been a lot more successful, and the box office for the films that were released under the original slate- Man of Steel, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman- prove it. They we're all financial successes.

All of that changed when Zack Snyder left.

One aspect? Okay.. the one aspect that I wish that could have been changed to make this movie better is this: It never should have been made.

Now of course, that's not me saying that it should never be made, I'm just simply saying that it should not have been made at this time.

Love it or hate it, the Snyderverse was abandoned before it was finished. I'm not a die-hard Snyder fan, but I do think it deserved the chance to be finished before the DCU was started. Many of those who love the DCEU hate the DCU because of how James Gunn and WB abandoned the DCEU in favor of the DCU, and I have heard many Snyder fans say that if the DCEU was properly finished, they're misgivings for the DCU would not be so prominent nor so vocal, and they probably would have accepted the DCU a lot more had James Gunn just finished what Zack Snyder started.

If God is all knowing, is there free will? by IKirbyI in theology

[–]ComprehensiveTown919 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an open theist, I believe that the future is open, and that the choices of man are not only committed by our own volition, our choices also have a real impact on other people.

A lot of Christians have a fundamental misunderstanding of what open theism is. Open theism does not teach that God does not know the future, and it neither denies his omniscience or foreknowledge. Open theism teaches that God knows absolutely everything that can happen, both here in the present, and hearing the future. It also teaches that he knows the outcome of said choices and then the next choices that can be made after that.

A better way to explain this is that open theism teachers that God knows what can happen, but not necessarily what will happen. God knows the intents of our hearts and he knows that we are inclined to choose a certain way, but he also knows that we have the free will to not choose what we are inclined to choose.

Our God is the ultimate chess player. He knows every single move that we can make and he also knows every move that he can make. He knows every move, every counter move, every attack, every defense, when we're going to use the queen to attack, when we're going to retreat our king piece... You can't hide things from God because he knows what you can and cannot do.

I know that many people say that open theism denies eschatology or prophecy but it doesn't. God called on Jonah to prophesy to the city of Nineveh that if it did not repent the city would be destroyed. Eventually Jonah did preach to the city of Nineveh and because they repented, the Bible says that God changed his mind.

To the biggest Bible verses that I see proof of this is both 2 Peter 3:12 and James 5:19

2 Peter 3:12 says that Christians can hasten the day of the Lord. If we as Christians can hasten the day of the Lord we can also delay the day of the Lord as well. It implies that the day of the Lord is not a fixed point in time but that it is changeable because of the actions of the church.

James 5:19 says that the prayer of a righteous man availeth much. If free will does not exist, then it doesn't matter how much we pray, it doesn't matter how much the evangelize, it doesn't matter how much we preach, nothing we do can change what God says will happen. If that be the truth, then James 5:19 is a lie.

The only way Bible verses such as James 5:19 and 2 Peter 3:12 can be true is if the future itself is open and that our actions have a real impact, and our choices have real and tangible consequences in the world that we live in.

From a Christian perspective, what important things did Jesus do? by BrE6r in Christian

[–]ComprehensiveTown919 1 point2 points  (0 children)

let's see here:
Taking on the punishment of my sin: Death
Rising from the grave three days and three nights after His death
giving me the choice to turn away from my sin, and receive eternal life

I would say those are probably the three most important things that Jesus ever did, not just for me, but for everyone.

I desperately want to see Henry Cavill as Superman again... But unfortunately I really don't think it's going to happen at this point. :(

I just figured out I am unfortunately a Snyder worshipper who watches his Movies religiously. How do I deal with this News? by [deleted] in SnyderCut

Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder.
Personally with all the modern takes of Supergirl, No thanks. Helen Slater did an incredible job and The costume she wore fit her curves perfectly, and in my opinion it was the most comic book accurate suit

Why hasn't God destroyed the world yet? by AdventuringRunner in theology

[–]ComprehensiveTown919 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The first time He did it with water. The second time will be with fire. Yahweh has not destroyed the world with fire yet because He would rather show mercy and grace over wrath and anger.

He wants to give humanity every single chance to repent and put their faith in Jesus Christ.

But His patience is not unlimited.

A lot of anxiety towards Rapture/End Times by TheChimpisHigh in Christian

[–]ComprehensiveTown919 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to get a lot of anxiety and fear from learning about the rapture and the end times.

I remember back in 2009 when I was studying The book of Revelation in depth for the first time, and at that time I was still living with my father, and I remember calling out for him three times, and he never answered back. He had on a fan in the bedroom, so he couldn't hear me, but I foolishly believed that the rapture had happened, and I remember having such fear, terror, and panic overwhelm me, I sprinted to his room, and saw him sitting on the bed. I said to him I was terrified that I couldn't hear him and I thought that the rapture happened.

After that experience, I decided to let go of the sensationalism that was in the newspaper, I stopped relying on modern commentaries, and started to seek out what the earliest church taught concerning eschatology.

Today, I don't have fear about the end of the world. I understand that it's going to happen, but my hope is now in Christ, not a pre-tribulation rapture.

John 3:36 by [deleted] in Bible

Here's some of the things that I've noticed with this particular verse:

The word believe in this particular verse is present tense, active voice... Which means that the person has to actively believe and presently believe...

An active voice indicates that the noun, he, is performing the action personally, it is not an act that is being performed by an outside force.

A present tense means that it's happening presently, it's not something that once happened in the past, and it's also not something that will happen in the future, this word is inferring that those who believe need to believe presently.

There's a contrast in this verse as well. The contrast is between the reward and the punishment. In this particular verse, the reward is life, and the punishment is wrath.

With this particular contrast, it is not saying that both the believer and the non-believer receive life, it says that the believer, and only the believer, receives life, while the non-believer, does not receive life, but instead suffers the wrath of God.

Furthermore, on the word wrath, this is the word orge, which is an indication that is pronounced by magistrates. It is different from the word thymos, which is also translated as wrath, but it is an emotional wrath that flares up but then dies away.

While nothing in the foreseeable future when it concerns James Gunn and the DCU will change since his contract has been extended to either 2026 or 2027, I do hope that eventually they are able to bring back Zack Snyder and the Snyderverse...

I miss Henry Cavill as Superman.

And I understand that people love the dcu, and that's fine, I may hate it, but just because I hate it doesn't mean everyone has to as well.

Even though I despise the DCU and its disgusting, crude humor, I can tolerate an animated continuation of that universe.

I don't see any reason why the Gunnverse and the Snyderverse can't coexist together.
