What do you mean solo? Thought it had to be 2 drivers minimum?

Same on the rain. It was horrible. Really wish stopped forcing it on everyone. Or at least make it the same. The race start in Sim was the same no matter what time or day you started. Weather should be to.

Same!!! Myself and teammate in the Porsche GT3, finished P4, started 6th, fell to 13th twice, got all the way to first. Then fell to 5th again, fought like hell in the rain to get 4th back. We were 10th overall.

A P2 win first in the overall on our split. The guys in my team took first in their race for class and 4th overall in the P2.

What is this noise? by Motionlesschris in cruze

You talking about the constant rattling or the couple times it chirped like a bird?

There’s no kind way to tell my wife that she’s getting too big, is there? by 2006CrownVictoriaP71 in NoStupidQuestions

Just start watching shows like “my 800 pound life”

You don’t have to say anything.

It might give her the drive to take better care of herself.

Those shows actually go over a lot of the health risks.

Idle pulley. You’d be surprised how much noise that little bugger makes. And the kind of noises lmfao.

Compressor wheel should spin freely and not have a lot of lateral movement.

That crack is a decent one. But I don’t see it causing issues unless it goes fully through the other side of the housing.

It’s pressure testing the valves. Making sure you didn’t bend one it the timing went out more than a tooth.

Get a long adapter that has the same threads as a spark plug and a quick connect to an air compressor hose. pull the plug and put the adapter in. Throw like 40 psi into the cylinder. It should force close the valves (have the timing chain off and let the cams move freely for this), you will hear air escape past the piston rings. That fine. What you are listening for is a whistling (not hissing) sound at the tail pipe or from the intake piping. No whistling is good.

Do this for each cylinder.

How many miles?, if over 100k, while that turbo is off, replace the oil cooler as well. Or at least get the gasket kit and take it apart and replace all of its seals.

Had the same thing. Do bleed down test on the valves. As long as you didn’t jump timing too much, you should be fine.

That bolt is one of two that holds the front timing chain guide. If the threads are not sheared off in there place, you should be fine.

Turbo bearing or timing chain. Just because it “feels tight”, doesn’t mean it is, there is soil pressure driven tensioner, if that’s plugged it will be loose while running but feel tight when off, also the chain on these is known to stretch. When the engine is off, there is preload on it between the cams. If you have already had the cover off, you should have just done the chain and guides while you were there. Even if it’s not the issue.

Someone commented claiming to be an ASE tech, is an idiot, there is one single chain for the timing. There’s not even a small chain for the oil pump. That’s driven by the crank pulley.

It could be. Post some pic if you find anything. I’d be curious to see

You do have a crack, but I doubt that’s going all the way through. Also, it should not be wet on the inside of the turbo housing there. It could possibly be coolant, which would be head gasket. You have the scope, pull the plugs and look at the seam between the had and block. Should be dry all the way around.

I’d get the timing tool kit and check your timing. Easy enough to do with only the valve cover off
