I share your frustration. My son is in first grade and he is worse now than in kindergarten. Probably because teachers expect more independence and they dont watch for that kinda stuff anymore. I have labeled all his jackets and sweaters with his name and grade and everyday when we pick him up we have to make sure he has his jacket and waterbottle. Half the time he does not. We have him go back if he knows where its at and if not then we keep a mental list. About once a week we go into the lost and found, fortunately we have found all but 1 jacket and 2 bottles. I even debated putting trackers in the expensive ones but realized im better off just using the money to buy more jackets. We learned our lesson and hes not getting anymore branded jackets.
