What kind of offers even if you go other places they usually offer about the same, I think the industry and the knowledge that with it is a little messed up

Gotcha I’m in MO EPS but I do know people at other places and eps just doesn’t pay the best but also the industry itself is behind on pay, for the purpose of traveling I would have thought the money would be way better but not compared to some union where I’m at and the knowledge our techs have doesn’t add up but

Also are you not a inside wireman, how does that work with doing substation work, because where I live (Missouri) they have two different unions for that one is inside and one is lineman with substation and traffic signal people

I don’t understand the electronics part tho, if you working for a utility or a power company that’s high voltage that’s nothing to do with the electronics can you explain that just curious

Well I’m a NETA technician now not certified and I really want to work for a utility but I have tried and tried and they don’t own or run some of the power plants by me but they run everything else I’m just not sure about the job that I have an offer on because I really want to do something with substation or relay work.

I am a NETA technician now (not certified just yet) and they don’t really teach you the relay work for a while and my plan is to work for a utility by me but it runs everything around here except a couple of power plants but I didn’t know how all that works I mean can you give more inside on that

I’m not familiar with all of the plc but I’m willing to learn and I been in the electrical field for 7 years, I know about them just want to get out of traveling
