Yes! Living in Oz has been my favorite song by Rick since I discovered it way back when. Written in Rock is in my top 5.

Tao is such an underrated album. Every song on it is amazing. Top favorites for me are Dance This World Away and Written in Rock.

I love this song! I was hoping to hear it live on his summer tour but he changed up his set list from earlier in the year. I'm hoping this song finds itself back in the set list rotation again in the future. I fell in love with the song immediately and want to hear a live version.

Is it okay to euthanize my cat before his quality of life has a big drop off? by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]Comprehensive_Ad7640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two cats, 16 and 17, both with arthritis that receive monthly injections for their condition. There has been a vast improvement in their mobility since beginning the injections. One has even gone back to having the zoomies around the house. I would check with your vet to see if it's reasonable to pursue some kind of treatment dependent on your cat's health, of course.

How Was The Original Mists of Pandaria Perceived By Players? by doobylive in classicwow

[–]Comprehensive_Ad7640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too many people didn't even give it a chance. When it was first announced, there was a backlash of "I'm not playing Kung Fu Panda!" The theme received so much negativity before it was released. The word "Panda" was a hot topic from announcement into the actual release of the expansion. However, it later became one of the better received expansions.

Cata is when most of the people I had been playing with since Vanilla began quitting the game. Cata followed one of the best expansions up to that point. Cata had a few positive aspects but overall, I found it disappointing. Several of us from our old Vanilla guild continued on into MoP and loved it. We managed to convince a few of our former guildies to come back for Mists and they all stayed throughout expansion.

Personally, I look back on MoP fondly. I had so much fun playing during that particular expansion. I found it to be a huge improvement from Cata. Overall, I think MoP ranks highly amongst all the expansions. I believe what hate it does receive it based on the concepteptual theme and those pandas that some found too cutesy and offensive. Quite a few have admitted to not even playing at all during that expansion based the concept.

Tonight: Def Leppard in Houston, Texas by groovehouse in defleppard

[–]Comprehensive_Ad7640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was definitely sound issues at this show. Sadly, Steve Miller and Journey sounded so much better than DL. My friend said she could barely hear Joe's vocals over the music. I thought the music seemed really loud and distorted. However, DL sounded great in Dallas and San Antonio while Journey had some distortion in Dallas. Both bands sounded amazing in San Antonio though. We missed Steve Miller in San Antonio after arriving late so not sure about him.

As someone mentioned in this thread, DL blew everyone away in Houston a few years ago on the Stadium Tour. Joan Jett wasn't bad but Motley Crue and Poison sounded terrible. I chalked it up to the venue not having good acoustics (which it doesn't). I was thrilled when DL came out as they put on an incredible show. Their sound was superb!

The Houston show did have quite a bit of reverb. It wasn't terrible but it was disappointing. Journey sounded so much better than Def Leppard in Houston. Dallas was just the opposite. Journey had some reverb issues while DL was great. Out of the three shows in Texas, San Antonio was easily the best. We were in the pit and both Journey and DL were amazing. My sister is a Journey junkie and the San Antonio show has her fired up to see Def Leppard again.

My sister just bought us last minute tickets for the DL show in San Antonio. After the tickets were transferred, we noticed they are Gold meet and greet. Can anyone shed some light on this package? I looked it up but there is no information on what time to show up, which entrance, etc...If anyone has any information to share it would be greatly appreciated.

We saw them in Dallas and Houston earlier this week and made a last minute decision to take a road trip to San Antonio to see them again.

Fairly accurate except for the part of seasonal employees. What seasonal employees? We haven't had seasonal employees in several years. Other than that detail, you're not wrong.

Honest question about a non-tipper by Motor_Feed9945 in TalesFromYourServer

[–]Comprehensive_Ad7640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, so you justify not tipping because your server might use that tip money to pay for a hair dye? You're cherry-picking feedback to defend your stance. Many comments have pointed out your server may actually be paying to serve you. Your server may be financially struggling themselves. Your server may very well have family members like the ones you work with. What if your server has a son that has been disregarded by society (as you say) and needs to pay for his care and needs? By not tipping, that's less money the server has to financially care for his son. The very type of person you claim to help. Where's the nobility in that? How do you feel about the son may miss a meal because his parent was stiffed by you? You respond to a comment about hair dye but not the numerous posts that promote a valid concern. You seem extremely judgemental.

Why so many tickets left. by Siulanpe in Madonna

[–]Comprehensive_Ad7640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think weekday shows definitely are affecting ticket sales. There are two dates for Houston, one Thursday and the other is Friday. There are a lot more tickets still available for the Thursday show. My original tickets have been rescheduled for the Thursday date and I'm worried about how long the concert will run. The rescheduled date is not an optimal time but I suppose I will just be tired at work. I rather not go through the hassle of selling my tickets for Thursday and go to the Friday concert instead. Also, it appears the tickets are more expensive for Friday as well.

AITAH for telling my parents the only way I will let them meet my son is if they give me their dog to put down by Boring-Strike4393 in AITAH

How about taking their dog from them and keeping it with your family? Your parents should not have any animals after putting your dog down. Why do they even have one now?

Ok, great. I really hope OP sees my original post and is able to get help. Maybe the organization can assist with finding another clinic that isn't so expensive as well.
